How does literature inspire us to achieve our definition of success? Success means that state of accomplishing our goals and meeting the set of expectations fulfilling an intended intention. Literature motivates us to achieve our success by believing in ourselves. A large portion of our lives is spent pursuing success. In the novel White Tiger, Balram undergoes a transformative journey to build his own identity. From the beginning, Balram prides about himself on being self-entrepreneur. It could be an influence of technologies provoke people to be successful.I am familiar with the Internet that has been a part of our society who are used by people for their daily activities. In Nicholas Carr’s essay “Does the internet make you dumber?”, he highlights that “the internet causes distractions and leads to lack of focus turning us into scattered superficial thinkers”.
