Hello Payton,

I think you brought up an interesting point where you mentioned it requires a good parent to put the child's needs before theirs. As a parent myself, I look at my child and want what is best for him, but at the same time, my workload is heavy and requires me to be absent a lot more than what I would like. In some eyes, this would make me a "bad parent" as I am not engaging with my child as "needed" for me to be considered a good parent. However I still believe I have his best interest at heart. I think sometimes a "bad parent" is not by choice, but rather lack of knowledge of how to deal with the situation.
