Development of a students’ professional health identity is essential to gear new graduate students who are planning on working in the health profession with the knowledge, attitudes and skills needed for a successful transition from university to professional practice. A fruitful transition unintentionally hampered when a students’ expectations don’t meet their imagined reality as shown. Furthermore, an audiologist can work in hospitals, private clinics and physicians’ office. And ultimately welfare is audiologist’s number one priority.

For the past decade, there have been different opinions about teaching health care students about thinking and dealing with different situations as professions, Monroxe, (2010), p 43. A positive feedback was received after some researches were done about how useful teaching healthcare students, including audiology students, about professional identity noted by Cruess, (2006). and this study shows that “even if students learn all the knowledge and skills required of them, they will find it hard to be successful …until they developed their professional identity” (Monroxe, 2010, p.41). Hence, proving the importance of teaching health care students their professional identity. This knowledge is important for the development of not only audiologists but also the whole medical profession in addition to patient’s benefit and other health care workers.
