Spiritual life makes us feel peace and accomplished. In spirituality there is always a God that lead people to the correct way of living. The God they follow and adore tells them the right way to go and gives advice. At the end, people who see success through this point of view believes God is the only one who takes them to succeed in despite any lack or problem they can ever face.
It is important because of authority. Without specific beliefs, we are not giving authority to anyone who has proven or also believes in such things as God and religious beliefs that follow the authority of God.
Many feel it will help to surface the personal questions kids have about god and religion and allow them to search for their own belief system. The most common, however, is the argument that bringing prayer back to schools will help reverse the moral degradation of this country. As the Reverend Jeffery L. Osgood, pastor of the First Southern Baptist Church in Dover wrote, "Back in 1962, when prayer was removed by the Supreme Court, something happened to America's soul and America's schools. Our nation has become increasingly secular and less tolerant of moral standards and values. Since America became so proud to pray to the God of Heaven who created us, we have been reaping the rewards.
Religion is “the belief in and worship of a god or gods, or any such system of belief and worship.” (Cambridge Dictionary) Many people believe in something else out of the evidential or scientific view, thinking that good things happen because God says so, or that the universe was not made by the Big Bang. Even though is something that was more present in history years ago, a lot of people still believe and practise a religion. According to Stephen Juan there are about 4,300 religions in the world. Spirituality hasn’t played an important role in my life thus far, as my initial understanding of the concept has always been related to religion. Growing up, my mother’s sides of the family were firm believers in god, and Christianity. Neither my mother, nor my father ever included religion into their lives, or mine. In fact, religion created a barrier within our family dynamics for as long as I can remember. My aunt was married to a priest and during our family dinners he would pull me aside to read bible versus. My parents were not happy once they realized that my uncle was doing this with me behind their backs. This marked the beginning of divergence between my mother and aunt’s side of the family. It wasn’t until my grandparents passed
A religion is a system of beliefs usually involving the worship of supernatural forces or beings. Religious beliefs provide shape and meaning to one's perception of the universe. In other words, they provide a sense of order in what might otherwise be seen as a chaotic existence. Religions also provide understanding and meaning for inexplicable events such as a loved one being killed in an earthquake or some other unpredictable force of nature. For most religious people, their beliefs about the supernatural are at the very core of their world views.
Prayer is one of the “key beliefs” of Christians. Prayer illuminates our relationship with God and allows us to express our love for Him, our faith and hope in Him. We have the opportunity to share our concerns, fears, needs and desires with the Almighty. The quality of our prayer life is directly related to the quality of our spiritual life and our knowledge of God. If we understand the purpose of prayer and it’s components, we are able to strive towards enhancing our prayer life where it becomes rich and fulfilling. When we develop our prayer life, we develop a stronger and deeper relationship with God; our prayers become our point of power.
Today, there are many people in school, who are religious, who want to pray or do any religious thing during school time. Kids feel that their religion should be associated to their surroundings. There are many reasons that kids (and adults) should be able to pray during school. Prayer has many good effects on children that pray during school. There are many reasons that they should like prayer should be allowed in school so kids can feel good about their religion, it can make them angry if they can’t, and there are numbers of cases that has changed the policy of prayer in the public school system.
Making prayers an important part of schools can be very helpful. This practice would provide a sense of holiness and peace in the students' minds. The prayers have the power to create a holy ambiance. That would help in the process of learning many values like discipline, humility, and respect among the children. Thus, the school children would realize the importance of the ethics in life.
Throughout this paper we will discuss many things now this is just my theology/philosophy thoughts and my proof of my argument for how things should be in children’s spirituality. There are many topics under this subject including: The foundations of children’s spirituality, Children’s workers, the child themselves, the parents, the Christian Community, Methods of helping children, and the outcomes of those methods. Throughout all of these I believe that parents and teachers are to strive to help children come closer to God and to feel like they are a part of the Christian Community. First will be the nature of God, this is a difficult subject because as humans people cannot fully understand the nature of God, it is too difficult for people
There are many types of belief systems that are out there. It all depends on the religion and its culture. Many beliefs have to do with the worship of gods, reading sacred texts and attending religious events. In order for a religion to exist, a belief system has to also exist. Without a belief system, there would be no religion. Religious belief systems also play an important part in many cultures around the world. Some cultures may not have a strong religious belief system while other cultures do. Belief systems also play an important part in forging laws in many countries. In the following paragraphs, I will talk about my religious beliefs in my religion which is Hinduism.
