Introduction
The organizational environment comprises of all the elements existing outside the limit of the organization that can possibly influence and impact the organization. This environment comprises of two layers: the general environment and the task environment.
The general environment is the external layer that is broadly scattered and influences the organization indirectly. It incorporates demographic, social, and economic factors that impact all organizations about similarly. The task environment is nearer to the organization and incorporates the parts that conducts day to day transactions with the organization and specifically impact its fundamental operations and performance, for example, customers, competitors, and suppliers. …show more content…

The company has been a front runner in the global textile industry and has been spearheading denim innovation and sustainability. Establishment of the company took place in 1949, from a small retail store in Pakistan, to a worldwide leader in premium denim fabric and apparel, Artistic Milliners continues to write history. It is a vertical denim manufacturing company with a strong focus on women empowerment, innovation & sustainability. Their mission is to sustain the reputation of the company as one of the top manufacturers in the world by striving for excellence in each function of our business. Their core values are quality, services, innovation and sustainability.
Methodology
To examine the environment and corporate culture of Artistic Milliners, we conducted interview of HR Manager, Mr. XYZ and 4 other employees. Selection of other employees was done under simple random sampling. Mazhar Abbas who has been working with the company since 2014 was of great help too.

They have customers around the world. Big brands such as HnM, Mango, Zara Men, Massimo and Jack Jones are part of the long clientele of Artistic. All customers highly influence the operations of the company. For example, due to law & order situation of Pakistan, Artistic has opened a lab in Dubai so clients who don’t want to come to Pakistan can be provided customized samples from Dubai.
