Some people that think cats are better than dogs I don't though dogs are way better than cats. You can play with dogs but you have to sit there and watch a cat. First of all, with cats you have to sit there and watch them or they might bite you, or scratch you. So, there not really fun to play with. But dogs you can walk them, play with them, pet them. Second, you can train a dog to do cool tricks but the only trick a cat can do is lay on your couch and hiss at you before you get anywhere close to them. The final reason is you can go outside and play with your dog instead of be inside bored because you cat hates the warm or cold weather. They hate water so they can't go outside and swim if you have a pool and snow is frozen water so they
Service dogs are a low risk treatment, that can replace dangerous medication and expensive devices. For a purebred service dog is $20,000, however there are non profit organizations that provide service dogs at a much lower cost, but there is usually a long wait list (“Costs”). ASDA (Autism Service Dogs of America) sets a donation goal of $13,500 for every approved family, which is always achieved. Another option is buying the dog from a breeder and paying for the training and accessories. If a puppy is purchased from a dog breeder for around $2,500, in two years time the dog would have costed around $5,200 dollars. The rest of the $ 2,700 comes from vet bills, service gear, training expenses, food, treats, and toys. (“Service”) Getting a dog from a rescue center will cost about the same amount because usually vet bills and training expenses are incrases. However in the long run the owner is most likely to spend more money on a rescue dog, because they often have more issues, physically and mentally which cause them to wear out faster. There is no health insurance that cover service animals. Service dogs however do replace the nasty side effects of some medication, and devices that won't provide companionship. Although the average hearing aid costs $4,000, hearing aides need replaced as the person grows, and need repairs as well, putting the total

Although cats and dogs are both animals they are different in many ways from, showing love, grooming, vaccinations, food, and vet care. To me dogs are more loveable than cats. However, cats are cheaper when it comes to grooming, vaccinations, and food. Owners treat and take care of their dogs better than their cats. I have always been more of a dog person even though they are expensive.
If one wants to live a more responsible, more active, and a healthier life style they should get a dog. Obtaining the previously mentioned qualities are great but gaining a best friend is even better. Dogs are intelligent animals and their personalities are one of a kind. With training, love, and patience any dog can become a great addition to one’s family. Adoption from an animal shelter is a great way to get a dog although there are adoption fees most of the money is being used to vaccinate the dog before its taken to its forever home. Buying a dog from a reputable breeder is another option as how one gets a dog. Reputable breeders usually guarantee a puppy’s health. One might have to go through a few more hoops to be able to buy a dog from
Dogs, without a doubt, are better than cats. For thousands of years this point has been proven, time and time again. We hear about amazing things that dogs do everyday for people across the globe, but the question is, what do you hear about cats? The fact of the matter is, cats suck. Cats have been and always will be selfish, arrogant, greedy, and self centered jerks. Dogs, however, will continue to forever be loyal, devoted, true, and selfless. While both cats and dogs have their own purposes in life, whether it be love or playfulness, dogs portray what the definition of a true best friend is, and cats portray what the perfect enemy is, terrible and atrocious.
Dogs are better than cats because they are easier to train, they are protective, they are easier to adapt, and they are active.
They say that a dog is a man’s best fried, but they don’t tell you about the overall cost, responsibility, or convenience about adopting one. Dogs are supposed to bring so much joy to a household, but sometimes they can only fill a void for a short amount of time. When a dog owner buys a dog, do they actually research the things that they are about to get in to? When I bought my dog, Skye, I never really looked into is issues; I just looked at the benefits. I love Skye to death, and I guess I could say that she also loves me to death. Even though someone rescuing a dog may think they are doing something great; they are causing an issue on how they will forever live their life.
Why Dogs Are Better Than Cats Somebody wakes up on a Saturday morning and takes their dog out for a morning walk, while their cat is just laying on the couch all day sleeping! I wouldn’t like that. That’s why I’d prefer dogs way more than cats. I think dogs are better than cats because, dogs are energetic and happy most of the time depending on their breed and age.
Cats are better than dogs, and you don’t have to do much either. First, cats do not have to be trained. According to an article written by Dee Em called “Why cats are better than dogs,” it states “dogs have to be trained not to jump on people.” Dogs can be quite an annoyance to train. A cat doesn’t need training at all unless you want it to learn how to fetch a ball or stand up.
Pets are all over the world, and a part of many people's everyday lives. After seeing my grandmas dog close to death about a week ago, it reminded me of how impacted I was when I lost a pet in the past. That’s when I realized that pets leave a very impactful mark on other people's lives. Then, I remembered not everyone has had pets in their lives due to various reasons like allergies and seeing them as dangerous. This led me to my research question; Should kids have pets in their lives? Weighing the options, I can see both sides to the question at hand. I was a child who grew up with pets by my side, but I also had been greatly harmed by one. When I was just a preschooler, I was critically bit by my own dog in the face, just inches away from a fatal vein in my neck. I still have the scar to this day, yet I still surround myself with animals everyday.
The perfect dog sits, stays, rolls over and shakes .the very moment you decide to take on that puppy thats what most people think the puppy will be nothing but a cute playing little dog with good manners, “you must rely on the solid foundation of these seven things socialization, housetraining, sit, down, stay, come, and to walk nicely on leash. “ (De Vito 16)..From the beginning people have learned that a obedient dog brings upon many benefits for both dog and human. In reality when people get that puppy most realise that it was not born with the commands that most associate dogs with.
...t difference between a dog and a cat is the training involved. If you want to get a dog you better be prepared to train the dog a lot and you need to have patience with the dog. Dogs learn things slower than cats but dogs also go through more training then cats do. After doing research on both of these animals, I believe that a dog is a better pet because it becomes a part of the family a lot of then a cat does.
Cats and kitten are some of the best pets to own. There are many things you need to do to get ready when you are adopting a new kitten or cat. First of all kittens and cats are much like infants in that you will need to kitten-proof your house much like you would if you were having a baby. There are many items you will need to keep put away so your kitten will not ingest them, such as batteries, medications, and tinsel. For a complete list please visit the ASPCA site here.
Although polls and voting have proven that the majority of people prefer dogs, I disagree. Cats are superior to dogs due to their playfulness and desire to cuddle. Countless people think that dogs are more playful and energetic than cats, but that is not the truth. Cats are constantly running around and beg to be played with. My cats play with a variety of toys such as mice, yarn balls, laser lights, etc which keep them active.
A dogs behavior is significantly more desirable than a cats. A dog is loving and friendly most of the time and enjoys a good belly rub as a reward. If you try and scratch a cats belly, the cat will try to scratch and bite you. A dog is incomparably easier to train than a cat. You can teach a dog to do anything from bringing you your newspaper to the simplest command, sit. As a result of being able to train a dog, a dog goes to the bathroom outside, leaving no stench behind in your house. Whereas, a cat uses a litter box to go to the bathroom, there is always a stench in your house. Dogs are also far better with children. Dogs form a far greater bond with newborn babies, and often times do not leave the child’s crib side. Also, a trained dog will not cause destruction to your house, while you cannot train a cat to not use their sharp little claws to tear at the side of your couches, and rip and shred all the way down your curtains. Dogs also do not jump places where most cats jump, such as in your lap on your laptop, or on your dinner table at dinner. A dog won’t be a surprise first thing in the morning laying in your bathroom sink either. A dog will lay nex...
