Ever since we started the space exploration, many thoughts of the extra terrestrial have risen. Whether you believe the extra terrestrial to be cryptids or not, there is evidence to suggest that they are real. By definition an ‘alien’ is “a foreigner, especially one who is not a naturalized citizen of the country where they are living”. In this essay, I am mainly going to be talking about aliens from space. The evidence for them to be real is that not everything has to be carbon based to be alive, humans have only been on earth for a short while, and that the universe is too vast for humans to be the only species. Many scientists believe that anything with a life, must be carbon based. Although they are correct, for life on earth, the same …show more content…
Humans, themselves have been on earth for a short while compared to the age of Earth, and yet we have evolved very fast. If we assume that aliens are carbon based, then we can also assume that they have evolved just as fast as we have, going from a one celled organism to one with hundreds and thousands. Coming from NASA’s Kepler mission, where they found many planets that look to be habitable, there could be life forms there. They may not be noticeable to the naked eyes, but they are still there. If we assume that the species is not carbon based, then they could evolve slower or faster, given their environment. The point is that the evolution of a species plays an important role in whether a species may continue to exist. A certain race of aliens may have gone extinct due to environmental issues but another may have evolved to survive in the same …show more content…
It is of common knowledge that we have explored more of space than we have the ocean, and we have not explored much of the ocean. As of right now, there are over a 100 billion galaxies, that will most likely double as we advance in technology. There are also 500 solar systems, that again, will most likely double. This means that there are more planets, with more stars. And with stars, comes a supernova, which creates life. Although we have yet to make contact with new life forms, it may just be that they are not advanced in their life. In any science fiction show, most aliens are portrayed as a very intelligent species, this is where we may be wrong as they could just be
The earth was more than six hundred million years old when the first signs of life started to show. The planet had cooled down from its molten state enough to support life. Scientists believe that the water was the reason that the earth formed its first life. The earliest living organisms were microscopic bacteria. There is fossil evidence of them from as early as 3.4 billion years ago. The first mulitcelled organisms have fossil evidence that dates back to about six hundred million years ago. The main forms of life consisted of sponges, cnidarians, and annelids.
Contact, whether with those around us or those out in space, involves an image in one’s mind of the other being different. What Stanislaw Lem states in Solaris is that contact between humans and extra-terrestrial life is impossible until we change not only that mentality, but our reluctance to accept differences in one another. One thing Solaris suggests is that it is human’s inherent racism and judgmental nature that holds us back from understanding extra-terrestrial intelligence. This is shown no clearer than in Chapter 3 – The Visitors – when Kris Kelvin meets his first visitor on the station: “I caught a gleam from the whites of her eyes and heard the soft slapping of her bare feet. She was wearing nothing but a yellow skirt of plaited straw; her enormous breasts swung freely and her black arms were as thick as thighs.”
Evolution is a process of living things change slowly in a very long time, so it evolved into a new species more complete body structure. According to the theory of evolution, living now in contrast to living in the past. The ancestors of creatures alive today may experience changes in form and structure. In addition, may experience changes in both the structure and genetics in a very long time, so the shape was totally different from the original and finally generate different types of species present. So the plants and animals living there now was not the first time here on earth, but it comes from living in the past.
Today we live in a world where many human beings move from one place to another. We live in a world where individuals in most cases move away or even escape their own country in order to live a better life than they had before. Though in the United States of America those who move in this country are called in such an unusual way. Those who move into this country, where I and million of U.S citizens live, are called the word “alien”, which according to the Oxford English Dictionary is someone who is “born in, or owing allegiance to, a foreign country.” When using the word “alien”, it mainly directs to immigrants from foreign countries in the world. When using the word “alien”, many individuals might immediately think of an alien who lives in
Over the years, the world has evolved and many debatable topics have arisen. In my opinion, one has become even more profound as the years have gone on. If this phenomenon became a reality, every living thing in the world would be greatly affected. It would even alter the world as we know it. The question, “Are aliens real?”, has been around for hundreds of years and has puzzled many professors and scientists. No one knows for sure, but I have faith that these extraterrestrial beings are not just a myth. Over the years, too much unexplainable, ancient and scientific evidence has been uncovered for nothing else to be out there. There is no doubt in my mind that aliens are real.
With more and more planets being discovered everyday isn’t it a little narcissistic of us to believe that we are the only planet that can sustain life. With movies like Star Wars, and Star Trek the thought of extraterrestrials are becoming more mainstream. However there are still many people who don’t believe.
Even though, there is much debate about the purpose of the aliens, there is more agreement about the types of aliens that are reported. Examples are the ‘tall whites’, the ‘grays’, the ‘humanoids’, and the ‘reptilians’. The ‘tall whites’, aren’t always as tall as some of the people say. They actually assume to grow as they mature. Growing so much that eventually they out grow their bodies and eventually die. The ‘grays’ are assumed to be led by the ‘reptilians’, they are small and gray with big metallic looking eyes. The ‘humanoids’ are almost exactly like us. They behave in a similar matter, they look like a cross breed of a gray and a human. But they are tall, pale skinned, and they have blonde hair and blue eyes. The ‘reptilians’ are sot
We have to keep on searching, and one of the ways to encourage research is to emphasise the possibilities of discovering life out there. And in the universe, with billions of galaxies that hold trillions of planets, it’s hard to believe that we are alone in this never-ending universe.
Is there such thing as life outside of Earth? The building blocks of life are carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen. Those ingredients condense to form all living things, new stars and even new planets! So, who’s to say those ingredients didn’t form other life on other planets? Think about how vast outer space is. There are millions and millions of other planets, stars and galaxies! It’s not that far out there to think that there might be other life in space, in fact, some people even have stone hard evidence that supports the idea of “aliens”. I personally believe there is such thing as extraterrestrials, and I believe they have visited earth before. As a child, I remember my dad and I would sit around all afternoon watching alien documentaries or shows about people hunting aliens and searching for UFOs. When it comes to aliens people have so many questions; have aliens been to earth before? Are they currently living on earth? Are they controlling us? Does the government know? If so, are they hiding it from the public? There are so many questions you can ask but, in order to answer them, you have to
The evidence of this lies in the mounting public obsession with all things space and the increasing advances in technology. While it’s easy to think about the extraterrestrial in terms of actors, science fiction
One of the most controversial arguments of this day, are aliens real or they just a hoax. We all always wonder if really do exist, and to the people who don't believe that they exist I will try my best to change your minds a little that there is living life forms on planets or galaxies. In fact, Mars actually has ice or water scattered around the Martian planet. The famous hidden and heavily guarded place in the U.S is the Nevada Test and Training Range and Groom Lake, aka “Area 51”, has been in suspicion of keeping top secret things from the Roswell UFO Incident that happened in 1947. Well we all know the CIA will snag those things up and hide them, instead of showing the curious world if we are really the only ones that occupy this plant or even this whole universe. With great numbers of stars covering our solar system or universe, life is possible. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know if other planets went through the same stages that our earth is going through in this heavily planet and star populated universe.
Do aliens exist? For eons, mankind has pondered over this peculiar question and a revealing truth has yet to be answered. However, one thing is known for sure, the discovery of intelligent alien life outside of Earth would provide support to prove and/or disprove fundamental beliefs that have been held for centuries. In any case, the discovery would serve as a cornerstone for humanity to make the quantum leap in understanding the purpose of our existence. Based on numerous examples, it is impossible to deny the existence of extraterrestrial life outside of Earth. Reportings of sightings, ancient civilizations beliefs, and scientific proof from scientists and astronomers are all key factors that contribute to this statement.
While this idea may seem straight out of a science fiction movie, some evidence suggests that an extraterrestrial origin of life may not be such impossible idea.
One of the most common unanswered questions scientists find themselves asking is "Is there life on other planets?" Since the first famously documented UFO sighting in 1947, the idea of extra-terrestrial life has been debated almost non-stop. The subject has inspired many TV programs, such as The X-Files, and films (Mars Attacks, Independence Day, and the Men in Black films to name but a few). Scientists have come up with many new ideas and ways of trying to either prove or disprove the existence of life elsewhere.
Planet Earth is home to millions of species of life, including ourselves. It is unique in the Solar System because it is the only planet which is able to support a great variety of life: from basic living micro-organisms to highly sophisticated and intelligent human beings. The planet provides the necessary resources and products to support the biosphere that can support the global living organism’s population. Yet, what factors allow Earth to sustain life? Life as we recognize it requires specific conditions to exist. The most basic of these conditions include components needed by living creatures such as water, nutrients, an energy source, and the right atmosphere and climate. Humans need to breathe oxygen and can survive in moderate temperatures- not too cold and not too hot. The atmosphere is like the Earth’s blanket, keeping it warm and protected. Other planets that we know of do not have the same conditions as Earth, so if life were to be present on other planets they would be adapted to that planet’s unique environment. Living things on Earth have adapted to this planet’s atmosphere, therefore we need the specific composition of Earth’s atmosphere to survive.
