Just the United States alone, the number of lives saved by guns per year is roughly 500,000 to 3 million. The right to bear arms is on the bill of rights to help protect yourself or do other activities with firearms. The second amendment was put into place to help the american people protect themselves from any threats. Being able to own a firearm and protect yourself is extremely important in today's society. There are many dangerous people and having a firearm is important in case you are in a situation. This right is under attack because there has been recent events of taking many lives by using guns.

Tribe “ We lose sight of how many Americans cherish the right of law-abiding citizens to keep guns at home for self-defense or hunting.” This is saying that people don’t pay attention to the overwhelming majority that use guns responsibly. They are blinded by the events caused by heartless people.
