Should college tuition be free? This is a very important question in today’s world involving education. Money is a big deal when it comes to attending college and university. Free college tuition will have its advantages and disadvantages. The truth is there are many factors and questions to consider before answering this question. Who benefits from this? Who does it affect? There are many people who are for it and there several others who are against it.

Free college tuition will have many benefits to consider. “According to estimates from 2013, young adults in America earn over 60 percent more if they have a bachelor's degree than if they only complete high school”, says Luke Redd. By having free college tuition people who would have not been able to afford it could now be able to attend college and get a higher-level education. There are people in the world who would love to go to college and better themselves but simply cannot. Many can’t do this because they are working to help their families out financially and cannot afford to take on another incoming bill. Some may be working at a fast-food place or doing hard labor work for the rest of their lives. These countries include Germany, Brazil, Finland, Sweden, Slovenia, and Norway. The fact that free college is successful in these countries give people hope that it can work in the United States. In Finland and Norway, the number of student debts have decreased and are six thousand dollars or less than the U.S average. Although college in Canada is not free, they do pay less than students would in the U.S because colleges are funded by the local and federal government. These numbers are better than the U.S and if the government decides to make college free there is a higher chance that the U.S will have more graduates and less student
