Due to the internet’s explosive growth within the past few decades, it is far more simple to find someone with a social media profile rather than without. A few years ago, many would have found the idea of ones potential boss searching through their online profile to discover who that person is when not in an interview ridiculous. This is a fact that every individual leaving college and looking for a job in his field needs to take into consideration. Social media is no longer just a platform to catch up with old friends and share cute cat photos. Personalized ads show on virtually every form of social media. These ads are based on what ones friends are interested in, what pages one follows, and the personal information one has posted on their online account. If an individual is looking for a job in his specified field, simply going online may expose him to job openings he may have otherwise not seen. If there was a particular company one had interest in, liking that company’s social media page would give him an advantage. He would be able to see as soon as that company posted job openings. Also, it never hurts to like the page of the company to which one is applying. Becoming online friends with other employees at businesses one is interested in would greatly benefit his chances of getting hired. Theses other employees could shed light on what to put in ones resume or cover letter, or how to behave during the interview. Just the fact that one already has friends within the company could impress ones potential employer. Not only could ones social media profile assist his chances of getting a job after he secures an interview, social media could help him find a job
“Man masters nature not by force but by understanding. This is why science has succeeded where magic failed: because it has looked for no spell to cast over nature”. From the beginning of time man and nature has been in conflict with one another because, as a whole, there is no cooperating. Each one tirelessly wants its way. The Man is fighting for dominance and nature w never yielding its authority. In American Literature, many authors illustrate this theme in their writing. Specifically the writers Jack London in The Law Of Life, Stephen Crane The Open Boat and Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Fin. Each explores the relationship between humans and nature but with slightly different methods. Mark Twain uses nature in a realistic way, Jack London in a naturalistic way and Stephen Crane constitutes a combination of both.
Every day, more and more attempts of banning books and taking away the rights of our First Amendment get violated. The challenging of a book is the attempt to remove or restrict materials, and the banning is the removal of these materials. I believe that books should not be banned for these reasons.

What makes a good person good? According to WikiHow, "We should learn to define our own morals ourselves. One of the simplest ways to do so is to love others, and treat them as you would like to be treated. Try to think of others before yourself. Even doing small things daily will greatly enrich and improve your life, and the lives of others around you." This quote shows us what we need to do in order to be what society thinks as, “good". In order to be a good person, you have to do good and moral things in your society consistently. However people might think that by doing one good thing once in a while will automatically make you a “good person”, but in reality it doesn’t.
Ortega 5One of the many reasons that young adults are recoiling away from going to college, isbecause they are interested in subjects such as liberal arts. Social media is a revolutionary way to connect to friends and family through a single app much like Facebook. Also allowing the public to be more informed on current events whether that would be an issue in today 's society all the way to a heartwarming story or a funny video. Although this sounds amazing and the fact that this type of news outlet is practically new. An issue arises that involves “fake news” and with that comes many opinions on what to do about it. I believe that people browsing these platforms should have a little bit of skepticism behind each story and if it the topic truly intrigues someone then they should look into the topic on a reliable resource before passing on the authors misinformation.
