PROSTITUTION
Prostitution is an act of getting sexual pleasure in return of money. From ancient times, prostitution has been practiced all over the world, despite being considered as illegal and immoral. There are several arguments in both favor as well as against this practice. Prostitution is known to be immoral and thus is illegal, but in my view prostitution is moral and should be declared as legal by the government.
People believe that prostitution is ethically wrong because it includes having sex for money. But I believe that it contributes to male chauvinism. If a guy sleeps around with a lot of girls having sex with them, it is considered virtuous by the society, whereas if a girl has sex before marriage, she is called a ‘slut’ and considered as characterless. This proves that our society has double standards. So, it is the society who should be blamed, not prostitution.
