Each one of the therapies that were recently mentioned provide a decrease in stress level and tremendously help people push past their issues. Therapy also takes the time to correctly work out a person's problem and heal a certain disorder over time. It is much more helpful and easier for the person to attend therapy if he or she has all of these many different therapy options to pick from. The person with the problem or disorder is much more willing to learn how to cope and fix their issues with a certain therapy that allows them to do something that he or she actually enjoys doing. ... By scheduling an activity that the client can participate in and complete, it can give them a sense of mastery in a specific task. This can be beneficial for the client to feel accomplished. Another technique that I feel can be beneficial in therapy is role-playing. Role-playing can be helpful for a client to learn how to dispute irrational beliefs by becoming aware of negative feelings towards theses beliefs (Tan, 2011). In addition, role-playing can help the client to overcome their emotions and practice coping skills that are more effective. The last technique I would incorporate into therapy would be relaxation training. I would suggest ways that can help the client relax including, deep breathing, meditation, yoga, a massage or exercising. By getting the client to have methods to relax, I think it can help with managing their thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
Structural therapy focuses on the family as a whole. It is concerned about how the issues effect the family relationships and connections. This theory concentrates on how well the understanding is amongst the family members and counselor. The members of the family are prompted to understand how the issues were created, where did the issues come from, when the issues started effecting their family, and what the family needs to overcome their issues. Its focus is to help others understand and improve negative behavior. The structural therapy concentrates on the interaction and boundaries of families with separating the whole family into smaller groups. The subsystems will create a clearer understanding of what issues are hurting their family environment (Gladding, S. T. 2010). The counselor is concerned about the members interaction because this reveals how strong the relationships and connections are in the home. The boundaries are important because they create an understanding that there are limits and order, and the boundaries can be diffused, rigid, or clear (Gladding, S. T. 2010). The counselor is expected to identify techniques so members can understand which boundaries are clear, positive, and healthy (Gladding, S. T. 2010).

Childhood trauma is an epidemic that seems to be running its way throughout the world. Childhood trauma is a worldwide problem that can affect anyone and everyone. People tend to just try and help the problems that occur due to the childhood trauma, but not the problem itself. Psychotherapy, or other wise known as talk therapy, is a way to treat people with a metal disorder by helping explain the illness and for them to have a better understanding of what is going on. Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an evidence-based practice in the treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders for young children. This family centered treatment approach emphasizes on improving the quality of the parent-child relationship and changing parent-child interaction patterns. During PCIT, therapists coach parents via one-way mirror while they interact with their child. The therapist teaches the caregiver strategies that will promote positive behaviors in children who have disruptive or externalizing behavior problems (Child Welfare Information Gateway, 1). When I first seek out for therapy, it was interesting and scary. I made my first appointment and I was anxious and upset during my visit. I did a 20 minutes interview over the phone before my first initial office visit. My intake worker that assess my caseload allowed me to know her briefly, and let me know she would not be my therapist, but allowed me to accept the rules, polices, and therapist assigned to me. As the article stated, “explain what therapy is, how it works, and answer questions about what the client can expect from therapy in general and from therapy with you.”
