Is safety something a person would be willing to give up? No matter the decision, there is no choice. Firearms are one of the most common ways a person is hurt. So many people are able to buy a gun with ease. Once a person is over eighteen, they simply need a small amount of money to purchase a gun. During the past years, Obama tried passing laws to make it harder to purchase a gun. Unfortunately, these laws failed to be approved. Obama was able to identify the flaws in the US system and he has a good reason to. Guns are exceptionally easy to come into possession because of their low cost. There are also numerous locations where a person can buy a gun and a person does not need any license or training in order to purchase one. Nbcnews.com says, “You can buy a gun for as little as $100.” For such a microscopic amount of money, a person can buy a weapon that can easily take away one’s life. A majority of homicides are committed using a firearm and that is because almost anyone could afford them. Some people may think that $100 is a lot of money for one to spare, especially in the poorer community however, they could still collect and afford to buy a firearm effortlessly . Do not underestimate the lengths someone will go to in order to achieve what they want. A person should not be allowed to buy and use a gun for a minimal price. One hundred dollars is not worth thousands of lives. Humanity cannot afford to lose lives due to reckless behavior. The inexpensive price of a gun allows a larger variety of people to purchase one.
