In the selection “Why Legalizing Organ Sales Would Help to save Lives, End Violence”
Anthony Gregory points out the legal sales of organs can help to save many lives. Although, his points are logical, it still leaves room for illegal crime. The legalizing of organ sales is unethical and can become a gateway to organ theft crime. I believe that once it is legal to purchase organs from recipients it will become a bidding war. The only person that will win this war, will be the person with the greatest amount of money. One of Gregory’s supporting claims is the very idea that legalization might sound gruesome to most people, but it shouldn't, especially since research shows it would save lives.

Gregory also used the fact that in Iran, selling one's kidney for profit is legal.
There are no patients anguishing on the waiting list. The Iranians have solved their kidney shortage by legalizing sales. There are people out there who can con their way into getting your money and then backing out or worse disappearing.
