Anne Frank

"In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart" A quote by Anne Frank. Anne Frank was in the Holocaust. She is well known from the diary that she wrote; The Diary Of A Young Girl. The diary is a piece of evidence from history that provides evidence of what the Jewish had to go through to try and survive.

Anne Frank was only 12 when she went into hiding with her family. She was just turning 13 a month before she went hiding. As Anne was told to pack her stuff to go into hiding, Anne made sure she grabbed her journal. She then kept a journal with her throughout her life in hiding and wrote in it very frequently. Her and her family including 4 extra people stayed in a secret annex which was her father's old office

building and stayed there for 2 years until they were found by the Nazi.

The play and the book varies for many different reasons. In the play, it showed us the way Anne thought while writing in her journal. Throughout the entire play, we could see how Anne felt just by her facial expressions. Sometimes she was happy and other days she was down, upset, and tired. Her actions compare from the book. We could tell that Anne was hyper active just by the way she would acted. She was always talking and never sitting down. If she wasn't always running her mouth then she was always walking fast around the house. In the scene when someone was knocking at the door, she ran to the door to go open it when she wasn't suppose to because it was a very dangerous risk. Lastly, in the play it gave us more visual. It showed us where everything took place and where everyone was throughout the house. For example, Anne was always sitting on the floor every time she wrote in her journal.
