We all know not to fall in love too hard, but we do it anyways and sometimes that can lead to tragedy. The stories that did this are Romeo and Juliet which is set in Verona 1595 is a story about a long feud between the Montague and the Capulet families. This feud causes tragic results for the two main characters, Romeo and Juliet, Pyramus and Thisbe which is about two lovers who are separated by a great wall and will never be able to see each other, but then they make a plan to meet up at a mulberry tree and when they do, things go very wrong. Love can often lead to tragedy, and that's exactly what happened in Romeo and Juliet. As Friar Lawrence warns Romeo about rushing into love by stating “They stumble that run fast” but romeo doesn't listen. And in the end all goes wrong for Romeo and Juliet. Sometimes bad things can happen when you rush through everything, and that's exactly what Romeo and Juliet did.
Our next story is about Pyramus and Thisbe. Death does not solve everything, it just makes things worse, and that’s what Thisbe didn’t understand when she thought she saw Pyramus dead on the ground and instead of getting help she states “only death would have had the power to separate us. It shall not have that power now.” Then she plunges a dagger through her heart and dies. As Pyramus found her dead body, he too killed himself.
And our last story is about Annabel lee by Edgar Allan Poe. Don't get too attached to someone you love, but the narrator in this story did that exact thing and never left her side even after she died. He thought that “The angels, not so half happy in heaven, went envying her and me-Yes!-that was the reason that the wind came out of the cloud by night, chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.” And from then on in her tomb he slept, next to his Annabel Lee in the kingdom by the
