Animal Testing and Analysis Vivisection is the practice of performing operations on live animals only for the purpose of experimentation or scientific research (ic.galegroup.com). Animals all around the globe shouldn’t have their lives being wasted away by selfish scientists who only want them for research. This has been a growing problem since the 1500’s and 1600’s. All humans have a reason to live and animals do too. Drug experimentation should not involve any kind of animal because the animals often suffer physically, emotionally, and the experiments are more accurate on a computer rather than a live specimen. Making a change in scientific research will change all animal’s and human’s lives and futures for the better. One of the many reasons animals should not be used as specimens in experimentations is because they can undergo a lot of physical pain. In the European Union, all animal testing used for cosmetics is banned (EU Set to Ban…). This ban has happened thanks to the Animal Welfare Act, citizens who were protesting in Oxford, England, The Body Shop, Cruelty Free International, BUAV, and the ECEAE. Opportunities like this can lead to better technology being created for the European Union. Hopefully, the United States can follow in their footsteps in order to create a more perfect union, establish justice, and ensure domestic tranquility. Stepping up efforts in alternative methods can make our nation better as a whole. Animals around the world suffer physically and emotionally during drug experimentations. This affects the outcome of experiments with inaccurate results that could easily be fixed with technology. If Americans can have their freedom, then why can’t animals?
