Animal Farm written by George Orwell is an exceptional novel based on the experience of Communism in Russia. The characters are given false names instead of the names of the real people who started Communism. When the story starts off, Mr. Jones, the farm owner, is coming home being drunk and unconscious and immediately goes to sleep. Old Major, a boar, is holding a meeting on the Manor Farm for all animals. He informs all of them about a dream he had about the animals all living together in peace with no humans to ever control them. Old Major said that all the animals are born into slavery. None of the work they do is for themselves. Without the humans, they would be able to live their lives the way they want to. After the animals all discuss this suggestion, they decide to agree with Old Major. He then creates a list of principles to follow that no animal shall ever accept the ways and habits of man. The meeting ends with a song called "Beasts of England."
Three nights later, Old Major died a natural death. Three pigs with the names of Napoleon, Snowball, and Squealer take over Old Major's place and creates Animalism. Animalism is the main principles Old Major stated before dying. Each animal starts calling each other "Comrade" to state friendship and equality. After some time, the animals could not take all the forgetfulness that Mr. Jones was showing, and so they break out to a rebellion. The animals were all surprised because it was only supposed to happen further on but the animals joined in. It ends in a victory for the animals and Mr. Jones, including his wife and workers, run out of the farm. Then Snowball replaced the inscription of Manor Farm with a new name, Animal Farm.

One day, Napoleon walked out into the public and everyone was surprised. Napoleon and all the other pigs were walking on their back legs, just like humans do. Some animals go back to the list of commandments to only see one commandment left that states, "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others." The pigs were all going to the meeting-house to have a meeting with the neighboring farm owners. The pigs were praised by humans for having all workers doing their job for less or no pay. The animals eavesdropped on the situation but then go back to tell what was happening. When they go back to see what was happening, Clover can not tell which of them were pigs or humans. They all looked alike.
