Never Let Me Go Lecture The lecture was filled with anticipation of what the speakers might say, what their thoughts on the book were and why it was chosen. When I first listen to the first speaker it sound a lot like our little group meetings and a question flu by “why did I come” or “they are just repeating what I know”. It was only when the first speaker got to the end was went I became more interested.
The sentence or quote that peaked my curiosity was the first quote the was taken out of the book. The speaker read back “I saw a new world coming rapidly. More scientific, efficient, yes. More cures for the old sicknesses. Very good. But a harsh, cruel world. And I saw a little girl, her eyes tightly closed, holding to her breast the old kind world, one that she knew in her hear could not remain, and she was holding it and pleading, never to let her go. That is what I saw, it wasn’t really you, what you

Which I have seen to be more of a memo book from the perception of Kathy thoughts. Were the author seem to be unreliable on the truth background of the clone of were they come from, which I pose questions about. In over this entire book was not my favorite to read. The plot was good but I also expected some rebellious actions from Kathy and her two friends. But I do see that having the characters be more flat faced emotions and accept their reality does remind me of our world. The presenters were also good at telling us the book and why they chose the book in the first place. I enjoyed how there were some people who blankly told the truth that they did not like the book and explained why. At first I thought it would be reader who liked the book, but having a conflicting side it good to draw up more ideas. This made me realized that you did not have to like the book to understand the value of expressing your our options to other
"At the very end of the novel- what is represented as being important? Find two quotes to illustrate this".
This book was brilliant. There were moments that made me laugh, moments that made me tremble in my chair, moments that made me cry, moments that melted my heart, and moments that made me want to rip my hair out at the roots. This book has it all, and it delivers it through a cold but much needed message.
This book had first started out by introducing the readers to what this book is going to sound like, which was the Introduction.
The author starts off his book with a note highlighting the meaning of this book. It is as follows:
I really admire the phrases author used to describe the feelings , emotions , visions and thoughts of that woman .
... it was nice to not feel overwhelmed by the language used in the book. Overall, this book was insightful, entertaining and extremely helpful. I loved this book and highly recommend it.

Except for this I loved The Help Kathryn manages to merge fact and fiction perfectly, exploring different emotions ranging from sadness to happiness-at times all in the same paragraph.
As described in the text, the speaker is Fadiman, a well-known writer and editor that graduated from Harvard University. Fadiman, unlike most people during her time, was a very distinct person regarding the treatment of books. For example, Fadiman pointed out the existence of two types of book lovers, courtly book lovers and carnal book lovers. Fadiman was the apparent speaker in the text due to the first-person narrative seen in the beginning (the use of “I”).
"Brave New World by Aldous Huxley : Barron's Notes." Brave New World by Aldous Huxley:
I thoroughly enjoyed the book, it takes an in depth look at individuality and the thought process with and without outside control. It makes you think about how indirectly the government controls small details around you. What would happen if the government wanted to take control of you completely? How easy would it be?
...ief novel. It is as though she tried to rewrite the story, with the same characters in a different situation, and with a happy ending.
The student may find it useful to begin the paper with the following quote from the novel:
This quote happened after the burning of the lady in the burning house, she had burned herself with books. He was confused and intrigued to make an explanation for this madness. He at first wondered if there was a reason for her acts, and thought about how there’s always a man that wrote that book and put time into that book. He now began to try to understand books and he started to make a passion out of it and learn about books. He finds that there is something good in the nooks and it should not be burned rather preserved because of the importance.
I thought that the book could have been a true story, and all the events could have happened in real life. The book was very unique in the way that it described what happened with Deanna, and her story through the summer of Junior year and her struggles in life. It made me think about how one decision could affect your entire life forever, and that the truth always comes out. I would recommend this book to anyone who is in high school and wishing to read a true story about a girl and her struggles in her life. Even though I did not agree with all of D. Swizzles remarks about the book, I still agreed with some of them. D. Swizzle and I both thought that the book was good and that once you started the book, you could not put it down till you were at the end of the story. I think that this book will be enjoyed by several high schoolers for years to
