Recommended: Theory on women leadership

I am writing to you today concerning an artist that I would like to nominate for the 2019 Grammy Awards in the category MusiCares Person of the Year. The artists that I would like to nominate is Camila Cabello, a 21 year old singer – song writer, who has changed the music industry using her influence and her strong, empowering voice. In this letter, I will be telling you why I feel that Camila Cabello should win the MusiCares Person of the Year award in the 2019 Grammys.
Although Camila is currently a solo artist, Camila is an ex-member of the band “5th Harmony” who’s many hit songs made the top 10 spot. As a solo artist, Camila Cabello has released 7 singles, 2 of which have made the top 10 spots (Havana at #1 and Bad Things at #4). At only 21 years old, Camila is quickly becoming one of the most popular solo artists in the country and is single handedly transforming the music industry and the world of pop culture with her …show more content…

She has helped launch the female empowerment campaign #YouDoYou. The mission of #YouDoYou is to empower and inspire young women and girls to make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others using inspiring stories and positive mentors to guide and shape them. These mentors and stories allow girls and young women to create a positive mentality, making the world a brighter, stronger, and kinder place where girls can “lift one another up”. Camila Cabello is using her wildly popular social media to preach the message that “Behind every girl is another powerful girl” by telling her own empowering story and by boosting the confidence and self-esteem of other powerful women and role models in her life.
