American History: Our Hope For the Future “Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.”-John F. Kennedy, 35th president of the United States. Our hope for the future as America is to make America the best country it can be, not to be judged on by backgrounds, if we’re black, white, Native American, Latino, Asian; men, women; gay or straight it should not make a difference on what one person thinks of you. Nothing should hold you from pursuing your dreams, even if it’s a small or a huge goal from learning something new to having a lifetime goal. American citizens hope for our future as a country has many different opinions, making America a better and safer county to live in, a country that has the best government out of the world. Those are all American’s different opinions on what they hope their future can bring to them. America has been built on what they made mistakes of, not giving the people their equal rights, having a bad president, or even slavery has had big flaws in our country. I still believe there is hope, we need to be more focused on what could make America better as a country, being more focused on doing your job, supporting your community, making your country as best it can be for you, family members, friends and others around you. Politics, riots, etc., have divided this country from others and nobody would cooperating each other.
