Once upon a time in a land far, far away there was a beautiful kingdom called Concordia. And while all seemed fine at the moment, within the heart of the kingdom something rather sinister was brewing.
The captivatingly evil Amara Alexander, young Queen of Concordia had never been loved by her kingdom, merely feared. That was precisely the way she preferred it, that is until she’d realized how taken the townsfolk were by the kindhearted, enchanting, blonde beauty that is Anastasia Bloom. Amara was furious, if anyone deserved that kind of love and respect it was her. Amara saw Anastasia as threat, one that needed to be eliminated.
One warm summer day Anastasia was walking through the lush green field with some of the villagers singing and

dancing, even teaching the children to catch butterflies. Everyone loved her, except for one. Seething, Amara stood from the balcony of her castle overlooking the fortress walls staring down at the group cheering and twirling with Anastasia. That was supposed to be her, those people, her people were supposed to love her, instead they were terrified of her, cringed away whenever she was near. It was true Amara hadn’t been the greatest ruler up until now, she was actually quite cruel but that certainly didn’t mean that she wasn’t entitled to be adored by her “beloved” kingdom. Then and there Amara decided that if the peasants, oops, townsfolk wouldn’t appreciate her or most of all like her more than Anastasia she would have to punish them, each and every one of them. And so it had begun the calm before the enormous and intense, storm. Anastasia was walking down the old cobblestone roads into the village with her best friends Alessandra and Augustine, when she was met with a symphony of hysterical screams. Without pause Anastasia rushed forward only to be faced with the aftermath of Amara’s vengeance on the villagers. Earlier that day Amara stormed into town searching for the legendary Anastasia. The vengeful queen had every intention to end her life in front of the entire village, she figured that would be the best way to get revenge for their betrayal. When the citizens refused to reveal Anastasia’s location, Amara ordered her soldiers to destroy every shop insight, destroying the villagers livelihoods and hope. When Anastasia heard from the townsfolk what Amara had done she became enraged, but also slightly fearful. Why was Amara so keen on finding Anastasia, so much so that she would ruin the lives of her own kingdom. The townsfolk gathered around Anastasia explaining to her that Amara vowed to return and next time she wouldn’t be as nice. Everyone insisted that Anastasia could defeat Amara and end her reign of tyranny, restoring the kingdom to the brilliant place it once was. In the weeks to come Anastasia assembled the strongest and bravest villagers willing to go up against Amara and her army. They trained day and night, gathering and making the finest weapons and armor. The time for battle was near and Anastasia was as ready as she’d ever be. Amara planned to sneak into the village in the dead of night and strike while the villagers were unprepared. That night Amara gathered her best soldiers and set off to attack the people of Concordia. Amara did not know of Anastasia’s plan of uprising, thus had no idea what she was about to walk into. Anastasia presumed that Amara would not play fair, so she planned ahead, one person was always on watch for any sign of Amara. It was late at night when Anastasia was alerted that the queen was making her way to the village with what seemed to be a massive army of her finest soldiers. It was time, Anastasia gave an inspirational and motivating speech to her army as they prepared for the perilous battle that lied ahead of them. Amara’s soldiers successfully made it into the village quietly and without causing any suspicion, or so they thought.
As soon as they made it to the center of the village Amara’s army was flanked by Anastasia and the villagers on every side. Bewildered Amara shrieked for her soldiers to attack. Soldiers from each side clashed together in a rush of adrenaline. As swords sliced through the air and roars of agony and determination rang through the night Amara made an attempt to escape, but Anastasia who was fighting on the front lines with her army noticed her trying to flee. Anastasia effortlessly fought her way through the throng of Amara’s soldiers, making her way to the cowardly Queen. Just as Anastasia was closing in on Amara six of her soldiers rushed out of the shadows and surrounded Anastasia. Amara came walking towards Anastasia, who was being constrained by two soldiers, her raven black hair whipping around her face. “Finally we meet face to face” said Amara while she picked up Anastasia’s fallen sword. “To bad it will be the last time we meet, seeing as I’m going to kill you now” Amara said in a menacing voice. As she prepared to thrust the sword through Anastasia’s heart ending her life Alessandra and Augustine slipped out of the darkness and swiftly assassinated Amara’s soldiers one by one, rescuing Anastasia. Seeing her plans fall apart right in front of her eyes Amara made a frantic flee to escape but tripped on the length of her purple cape, crashing hard to the ground. With her white dress flowing behind her Anastasia grabbed her sword looming over Amara dauntingly, but paused. “Why are you just standing there? Kill me already.” Shouted Amara. “But then that would make me like you, and I never want to become a monster.” said Anastasia, as she lowered her sword to her
side. Anastasia spared Amara’s life that day, and ended the battle, freeing the kingdom of Amara’s rule and her cruelty towards the townsfolk. Amara was dethroned and Anastasia was crowned the New Queen of Concordia, restoring peace and hope to their kingdom. The End.

purpose; she flees from him. He then sees the souls of those who died in battle.
And she revelled in it, before it became too dangerous. She, unblinkingly, sent countless people to their deaths; she effortlessly imposed dreadful fear upon the young girls in the village, to the extent that one was reduced to insanity. She thought not once to stop, the euphoric indulgence was too great for her, because she could, she did. Ironically throughout her diabolical reign the one redeeming feature she possessed enforced her actions and accusations most powerfully, her illusive childlike innocence.
After a bit of walking we made it to our destination. The ten girls were led into a yard that was hidden behind a fence. Everyone else stayed outside. A mud hut stood by the fence that the girls had just entered into. The chief of the village stood on the porch, holding a basket of corn flour.
The story opens by embracing the reader with a relaxed setting, giving the anticipation for an optimistic story. “…with the fresh warmth of a full summer day; the flowers were blossoming profusely and the grass was richly green (p.445).”

Personal experiences affect everybody. Just like in the stories “Abuela Invents The Zero” by Ortiz Cofer and “Home” by Anton Chekhov. Constancia and Yevgeny, from the stories, both have small problems that lead to dramatic changes in their values. Constancia values what her peers think of her and Yevgeny values work more than his son. The authors of “Abuela Invents The Zero” and “Home” have both shown how small moments can change a person’s values forever.
Women are what bring this story to such cavernous depths. We are not brought into the perspective of the men, we are, however, told about how they are loved, hurt, and manipulated by the women. There is a scale of personality among the ladies which ranges from the pious uncertainty of Gwenyfar to the essence of strength from Morgaine. We are first enthralled with Igraine’s love, repulsed by the sinister Morgause, respectful to the lady Igraine, enchanted by Morgaine’s wisdom and angered by Gwenyfar’s ignorance. The qualities possessed by these woman can be both glorious and destructive.
Standing on the balcony, I gazed at the darkened and starry sky above. Silence surrounded me as I took a glimpse at the deserted park before me. Memories bombarded my mind. As a young girl, the park was my favourite place to go. One cold winter’s night just like tonight as I looked upon the dark sky, I had decided to go for a walk. Wrapped up in my elegant scarlet red winter coat with gleaming black buttons descending down the front keeping away the winter chill. Wearing thick leggings as black as coal, leather boots lined with fur which kept my feet cozy.
The ones brave enough to linger, but too stupid to flee, stared at her in silence, fascinated by a woman as powerful of the ancient prophet Eliyah.
Long ago,a young and beautiful girl lived in the Wolong valley with her family. She was a shepherdess, loved by all who knew her for her kindness and good nature.Whenever she took her sheep...

As Quinn and Wildfire approached, she sat down. “Rise now as Queen” Quinn said as he put a golden crown laced with jewels on her head. Wildfire roared loudly, and the towns people cheered, “long live Queen Thea”
