Alexander III of Macedon also known as Alexander The Great is my favorite Greek conqueror for many different reasons. He is known to have conquered most of the known world of his day. I had a conversation with Alexander this Monday, in the conference room to discuss his achievements, and to explain his life. How did you win some many wars and battles against other nations? A large part of my success was through training my army constantly. No commander can win a battle, let alone a war by himself. I, as many others, needed support of my well-trained army throughout my conquests. It was Philip who revolutionized my army, but I myself who took them to another level. How did your parents influence your life? It was through my mother that I could claim a lineage that included both Achilles, and at least indirectly, Hector, the two great combatants of the Trojan War.
