Alcohol is one of the most used and misused substance there is. The main reason alcohol is misused is because it’s legal and accepted into our society. People drink alcohol to socialize, relax, celebrate, and for the taste. Alcohol is always included into events such as celebrations, birthday parties or even family get togethers. Alcohol also causes damage to the body such as the brain, heart, kidney and digestive system; causing people to feel and act different.
800,000 people every year die from alcohol-related causes every year. Alcohol is the fourth leading preventable cause of death in the united states. It also causes over 200 diseases, injuries, and health conditions. Alcohol is known to give health conditions like Cirrhosis, cancer and or hypertension. It can also cause 7 different type of cancers. Alcohol is more dangerous because it is more accepted and less regulated. …show more content…

A type of legal response of possession for alcohol would be a Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission (TABC). A TABC is a certificate to sell or serve alcoholic beverages in Texas. It’s an online course that teaches you everything you need to know about selling alcoholic beverages. A distribution of controlled substances would be how anyone can’t sell alcohol to any minors under the age of twenty one. Anyone who sells alcohol who to a minor will face the consequences of a fine.
