I do not identify with a religion that requires practice or traditions or the belief in a higher power or being. I identify myself as being Agnostic, which means I believe nothing can be known or is known about the existence of a God, and that I do not believe or disbelieve in a God. I am the type of person who needs proof that I can physically see in order to believe something exists, so I do not think I will be able to know if a certain God is real or not. However, I am very familiar with multiple religions and have attended different churches of various religions as a child. These include Christian, Mormon, and Catholic churches. Although I am not a religious person I will discuss the Christian religion.
The Christian religion believes in a monotheistic God. The Christian religion does put an emphasis faith and practice. An example of faith in the Christian religion in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. What this means is Christian believe that Jesus suffered, died, and was resurrected from the dead so that people would be able repent for their sins and be allowed into heaven. This is one of the biggest parts of the Christian religion. This faith in the resurrection of Jesus also ties into the Christian practices. Some have closed and open communion, it just depends on what type of Christianity is being practiced. Baptisms are also a practice performed by many Christians. The Christian religion also put an emphasis on the belief in the Holy Trinity which is a teaching that God is 3 different ‘people’, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Another important aspect of Christian religions is the Ten Commandments, which are principles or rules to follow. A few things the Ten Commandment do are forbidding murder, theft, and
