Some of the women have unplanned pregnancies, but the father of the child doesn’t want to be part of their lives. Some women don’t have the best paying jobs or might not even have a job. The women that don’t get enough money will choose to have an abortion because they won’t be able to pay for her and the child. Other than having an abortion because you don’t have enough money, there are other options that don’t cost anything like adoption. The child might not be the best thing for the women’s life, they might end up being a negative effect in their
There are other options instead of an abortion. One could set up an adoption plan instead. They both still come with pain but knowing that a child could have a life is a better feeling. An adoption is giving away all legal rights to another family to take care of a child that somebody cannot. There is also open adoption, which is where the birth mother and the adoptive parents come to an agreement where they can get regular updates on the child. They could get pictures, meetings with parents or even play dates with the child. The law however does not enforce that method.
The most common conflicts that cause a woman to get an abortion are based on their own personal responsibilities. Sixteen percent of women, who get abortions, believe that their life would be changed too much to acquire a child. Twenty-one percent of expectant mothers feel that they are not ready for the responsibility to care for an adolescent. Few as twelve percent have complications with relationships or are unmarried. One perecent have been raped and/or incested. Twenty-one percent have financial disputes. Eight percent currently bare children and have all they wish for. Three percent have discovered that the baby in the womb has health issues. Four perecent of the abortions are other reasons. Lastly, the abortion pill used to minimize the fetus, does not work, therefore the woman receives an

For example, some people may have been molested by family members, or even strangers. While some parents are not financially able to raise a child. Adoption is always an option, and a much better alternative to murder. Yes, a woman does have a choice, but there is always one morally right way to go when considering an abortion, and it is simply to just not have one.... ... middle of paper ... ... “In everyday life, men and women make decisions that affect the life and death of existing people.
Whether the person was sexually assaulted, or it was a mistake, there are always other options. Why do people think it is ok to end a life, but when a pregnant woman is killed it is a double homicide? Many couples cannot produce to make a baby and they seek adoption. If a woman gets pregnant to consented sex, I think the male and female should take responsibility for their own actions and accept the consequences. They made to choice to have sex. Sex is not a game to play around. Sex is to make babies. Having sexual intercourse carries with it the risk of pregnancy, an unborn baby must not be punished for a mistake two couples made and if they cannot support their child, allow them to at least seek a chance at life and put them up for adoption. There are families out there who will love them unconditionally! A human life begins at conception. In 25 days the heart starts beating. Abortion is no different to murder since it is an act of taking a human life. Taking away an innocent life, a being that has neither defense nor protection. Millions of families in the United States or around the world wanting to adopt a child, I do not see such thing as an unwanted pregnancy. Why should women’s risk their health by making a hasty decision? Terminating an innocent life, which can possibly result in medical condition later in life, the chances of miscarriage and pelvic inflammatory
I think [17e] that the lady should have the baby and then put it up for adoption, but then there are also a lot of other people that think that the child will suffer psychologically, because in a lot of cases the child will never get to meet their biological parents. Even if the baby doesn't meet their parents they will not suffer as badly as it would if it were brutal. slaughtered in the womb, this brings up a biological issue: abortion is killing a human life.... ... middle of paper ... ...
Abortion is the process of removing the unwanted contents of conception, which will develop into a human being, from a mother’s body. It has been a controversial topic for years and undoubtedly will continue as one until the end of time, with valid arguments being made from members on both sides of the isle. Many of the argument and issues pointed out are ethical, scientific, and moral in nature. When do these contents of conception actually become a person? Should abortion remain legal? If made illegal will women’s health suffer as back alley abortions are performed? These are some of the many questions that are asked when the topic of abortion is discussed. For the time being abortions are legal since the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision legalized it. This law is in direct opposition of many health care workers and nurses’ personal moral and ethical beliefs, therefore, we as nurses must examine our own surrounding and beliefs while at the same time being aware that proper care must be provided to all patients. In situations where moral obligations are tested, the professional nurse will remain free of stereotyping or segregating and will either dismiss themselves from care of these patients or will be nonjudgmental and provide the best possible care.
Many may argue this topic of abortion and both have strong evidence on each side of the argument to say why they are correct and why you should agree with them; some people feel that teens should be allowed while others may disagree. This paper will focus on why teens should not be allowed to have abortions and the effects of it.
Abortion, “the ending of a pregnancy before the fetus can live independently outside the mother,” (Brown par. 1) has been practiced since ancient times. With records dating back to the “ancient Egyptians, Grecians, and Romans,” (History of Abortion par. 1) it’s no question that abortion techniques have been used throughout the ages as an effective form of birth control. Pregnancies were once terminated through a number of methods, including the use of sharpened instruments, herbs, manipulation, and other techniques. (History of Abortion par. 1)
If an unexpected pregnancy should occur, abortion is not the only option. There are many reasons why abortion should not be illegal in all parts of the world, and people need to know the options available. Adoption is certainly a strong option in a world where children want to be supported. Abortion is not a method of birth control and people need to be educated on pregnancy prevention and take on some responsibilities. Many people do not realize that at the moment of conception life begins, it is a medical fact, once conceived the structure of life begins to take place (Medical Testimony).
Why should any woman be denied the choice to do what she wants with her own body? Women should have the control to decide what is best for their own body without the interference of the government’s laws. Making abortion legal can save and protect the lives of the pregnant woman and unborn fetus. The abortion procedure can help a woman’s life by saving her from financial stress, difficult responsibilities, risky health concerns, emotional disturbances and it also corresponds with the law . The procedure helps the unborn fetus by preventing an irregular health, emotional, and social development.
There are 1.5 million adopted children in the United States. (Fields, Jason,) If the parents weren't ready to have to a child, instead of abortion there's adoption. There are different types of adoption. Foster care adoption is the adoption of children in state care for whom reunification with their birth parents is not possible for safety or other reasons. Private adoption can be arranged either through an agency or through independent adoption. Adoption is a lot safer than abortion, if people knew the facts about abortion i bet they'd rather give their child for adoption rather than having an abortion.
Abortion by definition means the way of ending pregnancy by removing fetus from the womb before it is able to survive independently. Abortion is an extremely debatable issue because while some people are completely against it, others believe that a woman should have the right to choose. Abortion decision is like killing own child or killing an innocent human life before coming out from uterus. I will explain how a human life is being destroyed, the process in which they destroy the fetus, and how to avoid this situation all together I believe that abortion is morally impermissible.
