Dual credit was the educational opportunity I took advantage of. As soon as I heard that my school was allowing high school students to take dual credit classes, I jumped on the opportunity. Unfortunately, I jumped too soon seeing as how only juniors and seniors were allowed to sign up for the courses, and I was only a freshman. After anxiously waiting two years I was able to sign up and I loved it. Taking online college courses helped me pass the majority of my junior and senior year classes, and made me feel as if I had endless possibilities regarding my educational abilities. Not to mention that I was told I can earn enough college hours to complete my college freshman year before I even graduate high school. It also gave me a chance to take classes that I had an extreme interest in and help me prepare for regular college classes. Even though I believe actual college courses will be exceedingly harder than dual credit, it still gave me insight as to what a college course is
Use the time to help develop your people skills to help you in the future. College helps with your organizations skills, time management to prepare you for the future. In college, you learn that there is a lifetime of learning to experience and you getting prepared for the upcoming decisions in life. With the future jobs, you will have deadlines to meet with multiple things at once, but you will be able to handle with having had 4 class and several things due on the same day. In college, there are many organization that people are members of helps set their future careers. College gives people the experience of an atmosphere that is a step closer to the real world. The experience that the college offers to study aboard and explore other countries to learn cultures that you may know nothing about gives you a diverse learning experience. It can train me to be properly prepared with a college mindset instead of having that mindset that is still in high school. I can gain a bachelors, possibly a masters, degree as I go to college. Having a bachelors or masters degree gives me not just a sense of accomplishment by making my family proud, but also a feeling of accomplishment of how far I have overcame to reach that degree. But all of this would not happen if it were not for the help of this program that will soon become the backbone of living a better life.

Taking seemingly unrelated classes present great opportunities to learn and surpass what ever limits, goals, or expectations of education a person sets for himself. Taking these classes lead to a better understanding and outlook of different ideas, ways of thinking as well as situations in the work field and in life. Being required to participate in courses outside of one's major can really develop a person and help them better understand themselves and the world around them. Taking extra classes in college would inevitably help an individual in the future regardless if he or she believes it is of no advantage at the moment. It can also increase employment opportunities once a student finishes college.
Attending college is worth it. Students who get a college education and graduate have many more life changing opportunities than those who don 't; the debates of studying after high school has been ongoing for many years but statistics have proven that majority to all students who go to college achieve more life goals than the average high school graduate. They get more work benefits, life skills, higher paying salaries, etc. There is a downside to everything in life such as debt is to college education. However, the price students pay is so small compared to what the benefits they receive after graduating from college.
Attending college has helped me see the right benefits that will help me achieve my ultimate dream goals.
