Being part of the Millennial demographic does have its advantages. Though this essay isn’t quite on the advantages, there is one key idea I will be referring back to many times; Millennials are lazy and spoiled. Not only do Millennials live in a generation where the future of the world is taking shape, we are the ones who are changing it. Compare this number, 46%, to the 14% of people older than 65 that have switched, and you have a staggering statistic. We Millennials want information at our fingertips and when we have to wait for information, we get upset. My generation is so used to getting information exactly when we want it, it has started spoiling us. This, in turn, effects almost everything we do. If my generation is not getting what they want, they immediately move to the next option. In this digital age, switching telecommunication carriers is somewhat simple. They have had to meet Millennial’s wants and needs so much, potential carriers now offer to buy out your existing contract with your previous carrier. Seeing this, to me, shows not only how bad communication carriers want us Millennials, but they are now having to create policies based on Millennials wants and needs. If we want something, we get it; that is what Millennials are used to. If we are not getting the right quality and service with a telecommunication carrier, we will simply move on to the
