Many parents decide to send their child to either public school, private school or homeschool strictly because of their beliefs or for the child’s best interest. Typically the best choice is to homeschool the child, because it is far more beneficial in the actuality children get more of the one-on-one attention each child needs, the guarantee of the type of education the child will receive and the assurance that the child shall remain out of harms way. Parents are able to assess their kids’ strength, weaknesses, learning styles and interests. Homeschooling allows parents to customize their children 's education to maximize learning, strengthen weaknesses and allow focus on special areas of interest or giftedness. This makes kids highly motivated to learn, and thus results in kids developing a love for learning (Benefits of Homeschooling: How it can make kids smarter.) Homeschooling a child can increase the likelihood that they will advance in reading, writing, and mathematics, as well as be able to comprehend the fundamental principles of science, history, art, and geography. When homeschooling, parents can customize the type of work the child does, and can decide what curriculum the child works out of. Customizing what the child learns in a friendly, healthy environment can help the child achieve the ultimate educational
Although homeschooling has its benefits, it does not always lead to the best of the best in the academic world. Many people believe that homeschooling always leads to educational success; the homeschooled student gets accepted into the top colleges, they score higher on standardized tests than public schooled kids do, and they improve faster than children in public schools. These so-called benefits of homeschooling do not really exist unless the individual works hard. Some parents homeschool their children because they think that a homeschooling parent can relax all day and take part in very few activities. Others think that homeschooling leads to the highest scores. However, the student himself has to work hard in order to have a successful
In order to determine whether Homeschooling is indeed promising, one must first understand the reasons why people choose to Homeschool. According to Reich, Homeschooling is appealing to many families because of the capability to almost entirely customize education for their children. Many families want to homeschool because they do not feel that their children’s spiritual and moral needs are met in public schools.
Parents decide to homeschool their children for multiple reasons. The most commonly given reason for homeschooling is religious and/or moral values. These reasons make up roughly seventy-five percent of parents. Some of these parents want more spiritual lessons taught that would not be provided in other schools. Others do not want their children to learn about evolution theories or sex education. The second most popular reason for hom...
Homeschooling offers students a more time efficient education that allows the student to focus on education in which is the sole purpose for school. Homeschooling also gives the teacher a thorough evaluation of a student’s strengths and weaknesses by visually seeing what subjects they excel in and what subjects they are weak in. At this point students can increase their individual progression in each subject. Homeschooling permits control of the environment a student learns in to retain the focus of the student. This will reduce the chances of drug usage, bullying, and violence. Samuel Blumenfeld said this on the importance of homeschooling “The home is a safe haven for the children in a world awash with drugs, sexually transmitted diseases, violence, and moral corruption” (Cindy Mur et al.76). When parents come to realize that the home is the safest place for their children, then will they act as Blumenfeld concludes “I look forward to the day when the public schools will be virtually empty not because we have abolished public education but because the parents will have abandoned it” (Cindy Mur et al.
In schools the children are made to learn the syllabus which the school follows , they have to learn this along with all the students even if they are interested or not . At times it might happen that even the student who has knowledge of subjects outside the school syllabus may stick to the school syllabus, whereas that is not the case with the children who are homeschooled , these children are mostly taught those subjects in which they have interest along with that they have flexible schedule so they have ample amount of time to progress with their ideas and being creative giving them a better learning experience. When a student starts progressing with his/her ideas they would develop the ability to think on their own for their ideas rather than depending on their peers this case makes them being self-dependent. To support this we can take many real time examples of famous Einstein, who had difficulty in school had dropped out and learnt what he liked and now everyone in school 's study his research work. Since the children have better learning experinces they even have higher score achievements than other 's we can conisder this from the Lyman 's writing where she tells us that " David and Micki Colfax gained national attention when three of their four home-schooled sons attended Harvard" , this clearly states that homeschooled children can outperform the other
There are many families that are taking their children out of public and private school’s classroom to move the classroom to their homes. In both articles, the parents have different reasons for why they are choosing to homeschool instead of keeping their children in public or private schools. Homeschooling is not for everyone and cannot be taken lightly. There are many different reasons why families would rather homeschool instead of sending their children to public schools. When kids reach the age where learning begins parents now and days have a concern of whether to home school their kids or send them to a public school. Both are good methods in developing a good education for a child. But also have differences in techniques of teaching and environmental differences. Parents have to think about the cost, the way the child learns being in a social environment, and also be aware of what their child is learning in the street. Even so, most people claim that public school offers the perfect environment for learning and developing. They argue

Some parents feel if they keep their children at home, they can minimize the chance that harm can happen. Other parents feel that they know their child best and can utilize personal strengths to work on educational needs. In the past, religion was the leading cause of parents who chose home schooling, now days this does not necessarily hold true.
Perhaps the most significant impact of home schooling is the actual learning. There are many academic advantages. In a home schooling situation, there is no doubt a more individualized program of study than any traditional school can offer. Whatever a child's pace or level of ability is, it can be met directly. A parent or tutor can focus exactly on what the child needs extra help or improvement in, as well as what the child excels at.(Ray, 2014) In a public school, teachers must teach to "the middle" and have little time to cater to an individual student's needs on a regular basis.
Thesis Statement: Homeschooled students often achieve higher academic success and are more active in their communities than traditionally schooled students, due to a personalized approach to learning that emphasizes individuality.

It is important to note that it is a right for the children to have a quality education. In this aspect, reasonable learning environments are a critical factor contributing to children education. All parents want their children to have an access to quality and better education. In the quest for such, parents always seek learning environments with competent teachers and better learning facilities. It is therefore, common to see parents always having a choice to make between taking their children to public schools, private school or have the children taught at home. As millions of children pile into schools each fall, there are some children who do not have to worry about whether they forgot their homework, or if there will be a pop quiz, or if their bus left without them. These children do not have to worry about where they will sit in the lunchroom, or if they will fit in, or if they will be bullied. These children are called homeschoolers.
