Advanced Bullying

Bullying is a serious issue in our nation and with the increasing technology advancements in the last decade, bullying itself has grown exponentially. Now, bullies can confront their victims in more ways than ever before in history. Instead of bullying people in social arenas such as school, public, or by telephone; bullies can now reach their victims through social media and numerous other types of similar applications on any given day or time. It can become relentless and overwhelming to the victim and there is not much help available in most cases to cease the problem at hand. Many reported cases of bullying go unheard until it hits a breaking point and the victim lashes out on the participant(s) or just snaps out on everybody within the nearby vicinity by using variously methods to harm their targets. The underlying issue is that bullying causes harmful and hateful damage and it just does not stop, it`s the law of continuity and nearly impossible to stop or prevent from happening in today’s society. Bullying is at an all-time high because of technology and communication devices, which causes a great amount of violence, distress, and health issues (StopBullying).
Furthermore, violence in school is often associated with bullying, especially in schools across the nation. Bullying comes in many different forms, most notably it starts out by teasing, verbally bashing, and occasionally physically harming an innocent victim, which makes the bully feel as if they gained self-worth for the actions they had taken against the innocent victim. Bullies find ways to justify the awful behavior in their head and view it as harmless fun. While teasing friends in a playful manner is appropriate in most social situations, there is a fine line b...

...pprove of bullying a human under any circumstances to prepare a person for the future. Equally important, I could side with a person who willingly inflicts harm on a bully because, say if you were to walk in that persons shoes, you would more than likely feel the same way. It reflects the pain the bully has caused the victim. The sad part is when the victim goes beyond a reasonable action of retaliation to stop the bully out of shear frustration. Both parties in that case are wrong, given that the actions they both imposed on each other did nothing but caused harm. Fortunately, bullying has been in the spot light lately, which has made significant progress in trying to prevent bullying from happening and taking a harsher stance against the perpetrators. Unfortunately, it has taken several unnecessary incidents to help ensure people a fair life without being bullied.
