The film, “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”, follows the character Toula Portokalos, a Greek woman living in Chicago with her Greek family. She is still unmarried at 30 years old, the opposite of what her father wants. She eventually finds a job at the travel agency her aunt owns, where she later finds and falls in love with a non-Greek man named Ian. Knowing her father would not approve of this, she goes forth with it anyway. Throughout the movie, Ian moves into the Greek culture and eventually becomes closer to the family.
