Once Upon a time in a land of darkness and desperation, a young maiden journeyed into the most burly thickets and through the most isolated forests in aspiration of finding a spirit who could do her deed. She was losing her health fast, and her hope faster. As she plunged ever deeper into the murky trees, she fantasized about what her life could have been-and maybe still could be.

Adeliza had been diagnosed with catalepsy years before, and her visions were getting worse by the day. She had been searching the valleys of Eabrarah for years in prospect of finding a remedy for the grisly disease. As she had traversed the world, she had heard frequent tales of one man. She rubbed her eyes and tried to make meaning of her surroundings. She appeared to be inside some sort of cave, dimly lit with an oil lamp. She pulled off the blanket and stood up. Next to her bed was a wooden table. On it was a book. Her mind bubbled with curiosity and she opened it. On the first page was a spinning wheel. She flipped the page and started to read. As she read further, she sat back down on the bed, becoming more intrigued with the story. It was a tale about a princess who needed to spin gold out of straw. “Rumple to you my dear.”
“Is it really you? I mean, well I’ve been looking for you for a very long time and I-” Adeliza started
“And you are?” He interrupted.
“Pardon me sir. I’m Adeliza.”
“Ahh yes. I’ve been wondering when you would come. Catalepsy, is it?” He asked.
“Yes sir. I was simply wondering if there was something you could do to help me. The visions are getting worse.”
“Why of course my dear. I have just the potion for you.”
“Oh you do? Oh this is simply just too wonderful to be true! Oh but how could I ever repay you?”
“Why, payment isn’t necessary my dear.”
“Oh thank you ever so much!” With that, Rumple gave her the potion and she headed back to the small town of Trefmal, leaving Rumple alone again.

Several years later on a particularly sunny day, Rumple went out to collect wood to make another book when he saw Adeliza walking towards him. He tried to hide his enjoyment as he greeted her. “What brings you here Addie?”
“I’m terribly sorry to bother you again.” She replied.
“Why it’s no trouble at all! It’s nice having someone else to talk to.” He
