There has never been an issue which caused more disputes and conflicts within our country, than abortion. We can all agree that abortion is an incredibly complex issue. The opinion of the American people is also a lot more complex than “pro life” or “pro choice”. According to one poll that was conducted by a Christian organization, seventy-five percent of Americans believe in “pro life” theory. According to another poll, which was conducted by a state medical board, concluded that the majority of Americans believe in a “pro choice” ideology. Who do we believe? There seems to be an obvious difference in the definition of the terms. I suppose it is possible to create unanimous definition of both terms, which will be approved by both sides, but until then our country will continue to fight a never-ending battle. I also believe that we would not have to fight over this issue if everybody fully understood the indisputable consequences, which would be caused by a ban on abortion.
Abortion right is the most controversial issue among women. I find it disturbing that some women advocate a ban without considering the consequences. By advocating a ban on abortion women deprive themselves of some of the fundamental rights of our political system. The freedom to make individual choices and decisions should be protected at all times. If people understood this principle, we probably would not be in the situation that we are in today. Most Americans would not want the government to interfere in their personal lives but a “pro life” decision will do just that.
Banning abortion will not solve this issue because we will be left with undeniable negatives, which will make the problem even worse than it is now. There will always be a controversy about abortion for as long as it exists. Even if we ban abortion, we will be left with such undeniable negatives as rape, economic inequality and illegal abortions. Today there are hundreds of thousands of children in foster homes partly because abortion was not available to their parents. According to one government study, unwanted number of children will more than triple thus flooding foster homes all over the country. Rich women will have an opportunity to obtain abortion in foreign countries that do not consider it to be a crime, while the poor will be left with a baby, which may not be loved or appreciated.
Abortion is a very controversial and sensitive topic in today’s society. Two different sides to this argument is pro-life and pro-choice. Pro-life proponents believe in the right to life for unborn fetuses saying that abortion should be considered murder regardless of how far along in the pregnancy the woman is. Pro-choice advocates people who believe the woman carrying the fetus should be able to make her own decision on aborting the fetus.
Abortion is definitely not a decision that should be taken lightly at all, it is in fact a scary thing that may not be the answer for many women. Many stories submerge of women who turn their life around and become an alpha provider for their children and are grateful they didn’t go through with an abortion. According to the New Yorker, “Some women will regret having had an abortion, just as some will regret having a baby, getting married, dropping out of school, or a thousand other life choices that people make.” But regret is inevitable in life and the option is better than no option at all for a woman. The fact that the opinion is there woman matters because in America, land of the free the option to vote hasn't always been there, the option to pursue a career or the, point being options matter cause without them we wouldn't be free.
Regardless of the achievements of great men like William Blake, the particular of situation of Bob Dylan isn’t comparable because of the great headway
Opposing views on abortion divide America today. The debates have sparked nationwide controversy and sometimes violent acts. Government laws allow abortion and permit the medical procedure. However, though abortion is legalized throughout the nation, pro-life advocates still believe it is considered an act of murder unlike pro-choice supporters who contend that it is a woman’s right to decide her parental fate. Two political and religious views about abortion are the pro-life and pro-choice.
Dissociative disorders can affect someone’s memory and make someone forget some of the important things in his or her life suck as their own identity. “When a dissociative identity disorder comes in to a person life it normally can make that person seem very distant and never aware of the other people in their lives.” (Diseases; 1) Which means that this person has absolutely no socials life. This person, when having a traumatic childhood, he or she can establish two or more different sets of personality. As an adult, this person may see an object that triggers the other personalities to come out; meanwhile, attempt to take control over the body.1a. SV; conj. adv, SV.) This other personality can be a different gender and he or she will most likely go by a different name. When this personality is in play the person’s original personality will have no memory of what the other being inside of him or her may have done.
Abortion may be one of the most controversial topics in America today. Abortion is defined as “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus” (cite dictionary). There are really only two sides on people’s opinion on abortion; pro-life which means abortion should be outlawed and pro-choice which means a woman should be able to decide whether she wants to keep her baby. Thousands of protests and riots have begun due to the fact pro-life activists believe abortion should become illegal. Both sides bring valid points to support their decision that could sway any person’s thoughts. The Roe v. Wade law has allowed abortion to be legal in the U.S since 1973 (Chittom & Newton, 2015). The law “gives women total control over first trimester abortions and grants state legislative control over second and third trimester abortions” (Chittom & Newton, 2015). Ever since the law was put in place, millions of people have tried to overturn it and still
... of their motives, many times it is what the woman truly wants so who are we to stand here and say what women should or should not do with their lives. After all, this country was founded on freedom. Taking the right of millions of women to choose what to do regarding abortion would akin to taking somebody’s identity away. In doing so, we are taking all that they have as unique individuals in society and leaving them with no choice. It can be agreed that social conflict is everlasting and ever-changing in our society and as long as choice is incorporated into our community, freedom will prevail.
...o be the cause of chronic posttraumatic psychopathology. There are several factories that contribute to this complex splitting of personalities. Over whelming stress coinciding with the ability to separate ones memories, identity, and perception from our conscious awareness, abnormal psychological development, and insufficient protection and love as a child ( Pais, 2009 p 1). It is still not clear how these lead to DID. Dissociative identity disorder tends to manifest in early childhood and arises during adolescences due to the protective reaction to server childhood trauma usually sexual abuse. There have been numerous studies on the early severe abuse and dissociative disorder. It is believed that these identities are invented due to a unified self-identity failed to form due to the trauma especially if the trauma occurred before the age of five ( Pais, 2009 p2).
Abortion has been a controversial topic in the U.S ever since it became legal in 1973 after the Roe v. Wade case. Abortion is defined as the, “the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy.” Pro-life supporters believe that abortion is unethical and argue that it is the mother’s responsibility to own up to her actions. They also argue that there is always the option of adoption, and that abortion could be very dangerous. I am pro-life and believe that the government doesn’t have the right to decide what a woman can or can’t do with her body.

All things considered, abortion will always be a controversial issue in which there will always be a debate on; however, it is crucial for women to have other options rather than to only be able to have children that they cannot afford, or to allow more children to be placed in an adoption system that can essentially prevent them from having a full and happy life. It is atrocious to keep forcing people to endure unwanted pregnancies that may cause them to turn to unsafe abortion methods if their reproductive rights are abolished.
Our Nation was built on the ideas of freedom and independence. With that concept, I believe that our government needs to trust that women have the capability to choose what is best for their future. Our society should respect women’s independence and grant them the freedom to decide what is right. This issue is important to me because history has shown that restricting abortions, not only undermines women, but can also be very dangerous.
Dissociative Identity Disorder or “DID”, a condition wherein a person's identity is fragmented into two or more distinct personalities. DID is a form of dissociation, which is a mental process. Dissociation according to Webster is, “the separation of something from something else or the state of being disconnected.” So dissociation begins from the person’s thoughts, their memories, actions, sense of identity, and their feelings. Most people subjected to this disorder where victims of severe abuse or trauma. In this moment of abuse or trauma, dissociation kicks in as a coping mechanism to protect them. In this the person creates a new person to help cope the pain.
Dissociative identity disorder (DID) is characterized by the presence of two or more distinct personality identities. Each may have a unique name, personal history, and characteristics. It's also known as multiple personality. It's a condition not a lot of people have and usually people with this disorder had dealt with abuse especially during their childhood stage. In the film Split, it's about a guy named Kevin who has dissociative identity disorder and has 23 different personalities. Kevin abducts three teenage girls and locked them in basement. With the girls not knowing who they're dealing with every time one of Kevin's characters open the door.
Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) or now known as Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) had it’s name changed back in the 1990’s. This disorder is a very odd disorder to some people and myself included. This isn’t just your normal mental disorder or medical problem, this is a different type of disorder that can be a little freaky if you really think about it. This disorder focuses on how people believe that patients with this disorder can have two or more different personalities. Vermetten’s writes “Dissociative identity disorder is characterized by the presence of two or more identities or personality states, each with its own relatively enduring pattern of perceiving, relating to, and thinking about the environment and the self (DSM-IV-TR).”
