Hitler (1889 – 1945) is the founder and leader of National Socialism
(Nazism) and German dictator, b. Braunau in Upper Austria. Macbeth is
the Thane of Cawdor who in the end becomes the King. There are some
similarities and differences between the two characters: Macbeth and
Adolf Hitler.
Macbeth wanted to be the King, just like Hitler. After acquiring
German citizenship, Hitler ran in the presidential election of 1932,
losing to the popular war hero Paul von Hindenburg but strengthening
his position by falsely promising to support Chancellor Franz von
Papen, who lifted the ban on the storm troops (June, 1932). Macbeth is
a fearless warrior who is an important lord in the country. Hitler is
also given a subordinate position in the cabinet when the Nazis was
elected the largest party in the Reichstag (July, 1932). Hitler held
out for the chief post and for sweeping powers. Both Macbeth and
Hitler were ambitious. Macbeth is ambitious to become a King while

Adolf Hitler was the leader of the Nazi party, Chancellor of Germany, and leader of Nazi Germany. Hitler was one of the most powerful and notorious dictators of the 20th century. Him invading Poland was one of the main causes of World War two. Eventually Germany was finally defeated in WWII, leaving them financially devastated, and politically unstable.
The quote, “Man is not truly one, but truly two.” can be analyzed from a behaviorally or mentally aspect. Physically, man is one, but if you delve deeper into the man, he can be separated into two parts which creates a whole man. In the play Macbeth and in the novel Lord of the Flies, some of the characters can be split into two conflicting parts. The characters are neither entirely good or entirely bad. In both the novel and the play, something happens to the characters that made them split into an evil side, thus creating two men.
In understanding the art form of expression in various ways like music and play writes, it brings together this sense of self identity that the artist wants to fulfill. Having this understanding about the life behind the scene, screen, and/or stage. My four categories for 50 cent and Macbeth are as follow Greed, Savage, Survivor and Success.
As the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare went on, the friendship and comparison of Macbeth and Benito Mussolini grew. Both of their actions forced them into power and made them the historical features they are today. The cause of their terrible actions lead them to their death. Throughout the play Macbeth, Macbeth shows many similarities to Benito Mussolini because both used other people to push them to power, lost that power and were both brutally killed.
Hitler was a military and political leader of Germany from 1933 to 1945,he was the one launched World War Two. While Macbeth was a Scottish Military general and Thane of Glamis. Seen as a brave and advantageous man who was responsible for the death of Duncan, the King of Scotland. Hitler had a deep desire for power. It was when Germany was in distress economically and politically, Hitler saw his window to rise to power. Macbeth had always desired power, but it wasn’t until he was tricked by witches into believing that he would one day become King and the Thane of Glamis.
Ever since the beginning of time, humans have set out goals for themselves; goals for power, wisdom, and riches. Many times throughout history, these goals have been corrupted by people. Hitler and Macbeth were both soldiers in wars before they were political leaders. They were both considered honorable and were for their bravery. Macbeth murdered king Duncan to rise to power in a unnatural way while Hitler was legally elected to power by the german people because his plan of seeking to right the wrongs of WW1 and bringing glory back to the german people was very popular. Hitler and Macbeth were both overly ambitious for power which led them down bloody paths to their eventual downfalls. Although Macbeth and Hitler are similar in their quest for power and glory, Macbeth is heavily influenced to gain power while Hitler acted on his own.
A quote which really defines Lady Macbeth and Macbeth’s ambition regarding power is “Power does not corrupt men; fools; however, if they get into a position of power, corrupt power” George Bernard Shaw. Lady Macbeth is more ambitious in terms of gaining power then Macbeth is and that Lady Macbeth will do almost anything to gain power, even evil things that she normally wouldn’t do. This is shown when Macbeth and Lady Macbeth learn about the witches’ predictions, then roles in the plans to murder king Duncan in order to gain power and then finally after the murder, Macbeth doesn’t want to finish the plan making Lady Macbeth angry and causing a chance they might get caught and gain no power at all.
Although most of Shakespeare's play " Mac Beth " is not historically accurate, MacBeth's life is the subject of the tragedy. There are characters and events that are based on true events and real persons but, Shakespeare's "MacBeth " differs significantly from history's MacBeth. The first example of a difference between the Shakespeare "MacBeth" and historical Mac Beth is the death of Duncan I. In Shakespeare's " Mac Beth ", Duncan I was murdered by MacBeth.
When looking back on the recent decades or even last week, it is not difficult to find a Macbeth-like figure in mainstream American culture. In this it is meant that these individuals experience a downfall in an attempt to gain power. One such figure was former President Richard Nixon.
The author also makes a comparison between Macbeth and Hitler to show how they both ignored all signs authenticities. They both believed in loyalty from all the people they ruled and believed that everyone should follow them. “The funny thing was, like Macbeth, Hitler ignored local realities. He expected complete loyalty from his erstwhile allies while treating them like minion. His clouded judgment was clouded further by the efforts of his foreign minister, the uniquely inept Joachim von Ribbentrop.” (In Tomorrow the World: Hitler, North Africa, and the Path Towards America). As you can see the author agrees that Macbeth and Hitler’s biggest flaw was their judgement. Both Macbeth and Hitler expected loyalty from everyone even when they treated them like the enemy. Lastly the author states that Hitler and his followers were nothing more then bullies to the other countries, and that is why they did not gain world power. They didn’t have the real power or real control they just bullied other countries into getting what they wanted isn’t of actually earning it. This related back to Macbeth, because Macbeth didn’t earn the position as king. He killed the king, blamed it on the king’s sons, because he was power thirsty. “Why did Hitler not close the Mediterranean to Britain when it was on its last legs? Why was he so parsimonious towards his allies? The answer is not

Adolf Hitler joined a small political party in 1919 and rose to leadership through his emotional and captivating speeches. He encouraged national pride, militarism, and a commitment to the Volk and a racially "pure" Germany. Hitler condemned the Jews, exploiting anti-Semitic feelings that had prevailed in Europe for centuries. He changed the name of the party to the National Socialist German Workers' Party, called for short, the Nazi Party. By the end of 1920, the Nazi Party had about 3,000 members. A year later Hitler became its official leader Führer. From this, we can see his potential of being a leader and his development in his propaganda.
