It was September 9, 2001. My family was living in New York when 9/11 happened. Me and my siblings were at home. Jewel and Chris is there name. Jewel and Chris were watching fairly odd parents and my father was at work. I was making breakfast for my siblings and my grandma was asleep. My grandma slept through everything and even my father thought she was dead. I was in the kitchen when I heard the phone. “Ring,Ring” I ran to the phone hoping it was my mother.“Hello” I said. “Hello”. The woman sounded sad but also angry. “Who is this” I asked. “It's the Lincoln Medical Center. Do you known anyone named Molly Ali” she asked. “Yea, she my mother” I nervously said. “Please hurry to the hospital your mother as been severely injured…” “Thump” I dropped the phone and grabbed my 9 year old sister and I yelled to get my 14 year old brother …show more content…
We got into my new silver Mercedes and drove off so fast I thought I broke the sound barrier. “Sorry, it's mom she's hurt. She got caught up in damn the terrorist attack earlier” “Is she okay” he said shaking. I didn't answer him. The car ride was silent all the way their. When we got there we see my mother bloody and barely alive getting rushed to a emergency room. I saw my pops screaming and yelling “She's my wife, she's my wife”. He got quieter and quieter and then started to whisper to himself. “Why her...why her…” I took my siblings to the waiting room to sit down and my sister Jewel started crying and my brother was hugging her and quietly said “It's going to be okay” and just repeated those words then Jewel looked up at me with her eyes shining like the sun. When she did I didn't know how to explain this to her. The reason why it was so goddamn hard to explain it was because she has autism. So I punched the living $#%& out of the wall. I kept on punching and punching until I could not feel my hands. My dad yells my name and I turned laughing for some reason. I thought I lost
The attacks that occurred on 9/11 took place on September 11th, 2001. In this devastating event, four different attacks had taken place. Each of the attacks were carried out by terrorists. The group responsible for the attack was Al-Qaeda, a militant Islamist organization that is known to be global in present day. The group itself has a network consisting of a Sunni Muslim movement that aims to make global Jihad happen. Furthermore, a stateless, multinational army that is ready to move at any given time. This terrorist group focuses on attacking non-Sunni Muslims, those who are not Muslim, and individuals who the group deems to be kafir. Ever since the late 1980s, Al-Qaeda has been wreaking havoc all around the world. The leader of the group once being Osama bin Laden. Three planes were bound for New York City while another plane headed towards Washington, D.C. which was supposed to take out the U.S. Capitol. Two of the airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center. One plane hitting the North Tower and the other hitting the South Tower. The third plane had crashed into the Pentagon taking out the western side of the building. The last and final plane was focused solely on taking out the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C. but failed due to passengers of the plane coming hijacking it from the hijackers. The passengers attempted to take out the hijackers but sadly failed, crashing it into a field in Pennsylvania. Throughout the content of this paper, we will be focusing on the role of media when it comes to 9/11; more specifically: how the media's coverage of 9/11 manipulated our feelings towards 9/11, how it affected Islamophobia in America, and the lasting effects of 9/11.
It's Nine Eleven, and the sun is just starting to come up. Everyone in town are at the Twin Towers. The planes just crashed into the buildings, and now the Twin Towers are on fire. The people from the fire station aren't for sure if they can put it out. The fire was pretty big. There were pieces of the building flying everywhere, and it was on fire!
“GET AWAY!”, Eleven screamed as the scientists were getting closer and closer to her. Ever since Eleven was a kid, she knew she wasn’t normal, but she didn’t realize she was this abnormal. She didn’t know what was so special about her that scientist would want to keep her in a cell. After several days, she was furious at the scientists so she screeched so loud that the lights flickered, the windows shattered, and the guards dropped dead. Before the police were contacted she fled. Without hesitation, she ran until she found Mike, a boy that looked about the same age as her.
When I was little, me and my family were sitting in the living room and watching T.V. and the next thing we hear is the doorbell. When my mom opened the door our family friend Mary, told my mom that she had dropped her keys in the dumpster and needed me and my
On September 11, 2001, a terrible disaster struck the United States. Two planes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City, New York. The only time US soil had been attacked since the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. The attacks occurred not only at the World Trade Center’s twin towers, but also at the Pentagon and what would have been the White House. The attack on September 11th was one of the most devastating events this country has ever experienced.
My brother and I had our own rooms at the time. He was eight and I was eleven. We live in a cozy three bedrooms house. One day our parents asked us to come into the living room. There were two bags on the couch and they told us to see what’s inside. Inside were delicious jelly beans and a black shirt. I unfolded the shirt and in big blue letters it said Big Brother. Then my brother unfolded his and it said the same thing. We both stared at our mom and realized she was pregnant. We were so excited, and later we find out it’s a boy. Our parents also told us that we would have to share a room, and we were fine with that.
As daylight broke, I awoke to the sound of my ringing phone. It was the boss. I knew so because of the specific ring tone in case he ever needed to call me. The sun irritated my eyes, I felt more tired than ever. I answered the phone.
I woke up really early in the morning, I was frustrated and I couldn’t do anything, because it was a weekend, and I didn’t get enough sleep. I was worried about the science test grade, and I got paranoid moreover it was killing me. Thinking about it was really hard, so I started making a plan. How can I get in the school, go to the principal’s office, shut down the cameras, and change my grades. Well that will take a lot of thinking and sneaky moves, because I am really good at doing that.
It was the end of one of my performances for my senior musical. Me and my fellow cast mates were laughing and discussing things regarding the musical. In the middle of one of the conversations I was having, my phone started ringing. It was my mom so I answered and she was crying so hard that I could barely understand what she was saying.
I was scared and crying as my parents took me to the hospital, it hurt. I felt angry, scared, confused, dizzy, and all over betrayed. We got to the hospital and there was a strong
I was still living with my mom and dad in Wisconsin. When the tornado struck me and my parents were going to our basement. Right when me and my mom got in our basement. My dad went to try and save a cat in a tree. My dad went to try and save the cat and me and my mom were yelling just grab Oliver then my dad said no this cat can't be left out here then I heard a loud SNAP then my dad ran straight to our basement.
I layed in my bed until my mother got home from work. I was tough and closed my eyes, I woke up to my mother kissing me on the forehead. She took me to the emergency room in our white, rusty ranger. When we get to the hospital I am asked to change into an ugly white and green gown, at least I am able to change into one. Feeling dizzy and nauseous, they put me into a very, very lovely and comfortable hospital bed (not) and took me into a room with a big white machine.
My dad and step mom passed out on the couch, I, only seven, watched my youger siblings and my step sister. I had to grow up fast because I was slowly becoming the parents that they were not. When my dad and step mom

I screamed in fear, but halfway through my scream I remembered my parents were upstairs trying to sleep so I stopped screaming. It ran back inside their house and closed the door then locked it. My parents must have heard me scream because they came running down the stairs and saying, “JOEY I TOLD YOU THREE STRIKES, IF YOU DON'T GET OUT HERE IN 10 SECONDS IT'LL BE THREE STRIKES AND YOU'LL BE OUT!!”
