Anybody can be a hero, you or me. All we have to do is to choose to do the right thing. When you choose to help an old lady in a wheelchair to reach for a cereal box on the top shelf of a grocery store, to her you’re her hero. When you stop a bully from hurting someone, to that someone you’re his or her hero. When firefighter’s run in a burning building to help people get out to safety without any hesitations and without questioning the possibility that they are facing death in the eye, they’re heroes. When passengers and crew members of a plane decide to say no and stand up to terrorists, they’re heroes. When members of the United States military without question risk their lives to fight a war against terrorism thousands of miles away from their families and home, they are our heroes. A third plane, American Airlines Flight 7...

...y person that became a hero that day. Even after ten years from this disaster this was posted on the internet, “We want to especially remember the firefighters, the policemen, the medical personnel, rescue workers, and all the common people who helped others on the attack sites during the actual disaster days, and those who helped to clean up in the aftermath of 9-11-01” (9-11 Heroes).
Terrorists are everywhere, but as long as we stand up and fight against them like the heroes of September 11, 2001, these terrorists will never succeed. Terrorism shouldn’t even exist if we just worked together and agree to disagree about our differences. If we would just accept each other and finally realize that we are one, regardless if we are black, white, brown, Muslim, Jewish, Baptist, or Catholic; we all serve one God, and after all we have something in common…we are humans.
