When the names Fleetwood Mmac, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Donna Summers and David Bowie come to mind , people think gGreatness. Culture and Music of the 70's. Music is an outlet to all aspects of life and culture is a significant way of forming people and the way they live.

Hard rock of the 70's. It was a type of rock and roll that fused rock music with strong musical influences from different styles of music.If the music of the 70's didn't happen the way they did there is no telling what music today would be like. The technology advances of the 70's has also influenced music greatly , if synthesisers weren't made polyphonic and portable they would be probably no sample based music , and we definitely would not have. Wouldn't it have been great to have been alive at a time when the radio played nothing but classic song. Much better than today when the radio just plays formula pop crap. Billboard Year-End Hot 100 singles of 1976.The top selling single of the year was actually Silly Love Songs by Wings.Which is a pretty terrible song when you think about it .The list is rounded out with novelty songs Instrumental TV tunes, live versions of songs that had already charted and inexplicably, a ten year old Beatles song re released for the heck of it.There is some great stuff there too but if you cast your eyes over the full list you'll see middle of the road easy listening pap, soul-less manufactured disco, covers, …show more content…
