My topic is drugs in sports. My opinion on Drug in Sports is that is wrong and it gives an unfair advantage to the users. Doping ( taking banned drugs to improve one’s performance ) in professional sports is illegal. Many people dope because it makes them better at their sports. For some athletes, along with doping comes the ability of sporting, personal and financial reward. To many people, the difference between failure and victory may appear to be as small as a pill in the palm of someone’s hand. The drugs doper’s take give them an unfair advantage, by improving their sports enhancement. Why athlete’s dope is a complex question and interplay between many factors. One factor, is societal pressure for success. Another reason is, they are striving for victory in personal achievement. Athletes may also be victims to accidental use by taking over the counter medicine that contains banned substances.

What are the different types of drugs? Well there are three common types of drugs, they are pills, medicines, and injections. The only medicines or pills that should be used are ones to heal sport injuries, or cure an illness. The ones that give an unfair advantage should not be used. Medicine is meant for people with health problems. Not healthy athletes doing it just for an advantage in their games. One of the most common things athletes use is inhalers, which are meant for people with asthma, the reason athletes use it is because, it increases your oxygen intake to you can do thing longer without taking a break. One method of injections is Blood Doping. Blood doping is when the number of red blood cells increases.
