The development of a national curriculum for Australia is not a new endeavour (Marsh, 2010). The ideal is that national curriculum across Australia would mean that students are provided with a quality education that helps to shape the lives of the nations citizens and continue developing the productivity and quality of life within Australia. The Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority [ACARA] have the task of developing and implementing a nationwide curriculum. ACARA (n.d.-c) claims have addressed needs of young Australians while considering that changing ways in learning and challenges will continue to shape students education in the future. A look at what the Australian Curriculum is, its purpose, structure and scope, learning theories and teaching processes and whether the curriculum has the capacity to meet the needs of 21st century learners will show that the initial construction of a national curriculum appears to be successful. However, the effectiveness of the Australian Curriculum will only be able to be evaluated in the future after implementation across the country.

The structure of the Australian Curriculum has a three-dimensional approach (Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority, (ACARA), 2010). The first focus is the Eight Curriculum Learning Areas; English, Mathematics, Humanities, The Arts, Health and Physical Education, Language, and Design and Technology. Integrated into the learning framework of these subjects are seven General Capabilities: Literacy, Numeracy, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Critical and Creative Thinking, Personal and Social Capability, Intercultural Understanding and Ethical Understanding. The third focus is based on areas identified as educational goals in the 'Melbourne Declaration on Education Goals for Young Australians' (2008) with three Cross-Curriculum Priorities: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures, Asia and Australia's engagement with Asia,

Most Project Managers come up through the ranks of an Information Technology (I.T.) department. They have mastered coding, testing. This experience helps prepare them to run projects, but there are still many unknowns for the new Project Manager. The official project request they receive is typically a vague, one-page list of objectives. In addition, I.T. Management cannot afford the time to guide the new Project Manager each step of the way. This paper will assist them in the initial stages of a project.

Having a website is a necessity nowadays, especially for people who are in business. Having a website helps promote your company’s services, for consumers to view and research your products easily, and also because internet is universal, people worldwide could purchase your products. Aside from business purposes, a website could also be built for personal use. If you’re into blogging, you can have your own site to express everything you want or feel; a website could also be used to inform people. Due to technology’s fast evolution, creating a website is now a very simple task even for those who have no background in web designing, all you need is a working computer and an internet connection and you’re ready to create your very own site!
My interest in the field of information management was triggered when I began developing small projects. As a group, we designed and developed a few mid-term projects in third year of engineering – a banking system portal, a website for my college, and a training and placement office software. I was the lead in developing a hotel management system, which was awarded the “Best Project” prize at the intra college project competition. These projects made
When planning a new project, how the project will be managed is one of the most important factors. The importance of a managers will determine the success of the project. The success of the project will be determined by how well it is managed. Project management is referred to as the discipline that entails the processes of carefully planning, organizing, controlling, and motivating the organization resources so as to foster and facilitate the achievement of specific established and desired goals and meet the specific criteria of success required in the organization (Larson, 2014).
