Recommended: Should cellphones be allowed at schools

I think that cell phones should be aloud in school during school hours. One of the reasons for that is because they actually have more benefits to the kids than most think. The second reason is the number of cells phones are reason and the use of them are more and more so why keep trying to fight it. There are two counter arguments but both of them are weak. The first one is that kids would try to take pictures of their friends. Another one is that they are just a distraction piece. This essay is gonna explain why cell phones should be allowed in school. One of the reasons that cell phones should be aloud in school is they actually help the students more than people think. One quote to help prove this is. "It gives them a little bit of freedom. It's a very simple policy, but it's also very effective." This quote is showing that phones can be very effective with learning but you if you have some rules. Another quote to help prove this is. "It depends on how [educators] approach the whole process." If they approach it write then they can use it to their advantage so that they can help teens learn more. The next quote supports this claim. "cell phones' reputation as a nuisance and a distraction has been hard to dislodge." This quote just shows that cells phones are distracting but its hard to get rid of them, so therefore you should just let them be in school. "The second part is that they're really seeing them as a learning tool, not just a toy for entertainment" That quote is a great example of why they should have them, they help learning.
