What is it called to hide a gun on yourself? Concealed carry. Concealed is what teachers need to be aloud to have in school. This would create schools with more protection, lower % of danger and more secure environment. Just think if you were a violent intruder with a gun and wanting to kill teachers and students. Would you be more likely to enter a class room with an unarmed teacher or one with a gun that knows how to use it?
Teachers need concealed carry in order for protection. With the crazy world we live in there is no telling what can happen. Retired director of fire safety, E. Floyd Phelps, says teachers that have concealed carry could use their guns as self defense from violent intruders that enter the school. They can also use their guns to protect their students, which has been done in a few states already. It would need to be mandatory for the teachers to take a concealed carry course and become certified carriers first. The statistics show that the 31 states that allow private citizens to carry concealed weapons have an average 24% lower violent crime rate. They also have 19% lower murder rate. There are 39% lower robbery rate than states that don’t allow concealed carry. The nine states with the lowest violent crime rate all have the right to carry. The bad guys know there is more of a risk to use their gun. If the violent intruder came in with a gun and the teachers had guns, he would be instantly out numbered.
