For me, it was important to have specific dreams early in childhood. In elementary school, I dreamed of being a professional athlete, specifically a professional soccer player. During middle school, my family needs limited my ability to play soccer regionally against elite competition; However, I was still able to participate locally. Realizing my role compared to my peers, I decided to focus primarily on my academics to reach my next possible dream: to become an executive in the field of sports management. To put it simply, I love the atmosphere, the crowd, and the thrill of attending a live sporting event. Throughout middle school and high school, I have instilled the belief of success by spending countless hours in the classroom, on the field, and in the community trying to make an impact. Having the belief, action and discipline to achieve goals is ultimately the key formula I have utilized to find success throughout my life. In late 2013, I compiled a list of academic, athletic, and other extracurricular goals that I wanted to accomplish before I graduated in 2017. As a freshman, my primary high school goals consisted of gaining acceptance into the International Baccalaureate Program and the National Honor Society, being elected to the City of Goodyear Youth Commission, and making the varsity soccer team. As a freshman, my primary goal was to make the varsity soccer team, a feat only few students had done in years past. To begin, I was already at a disadvantage, as I was unable to participate with club soccer unlike most of the varsity players on the team; However, I was also at an advantage, as the coach recognized my hunger
