Describe your reasons for applying to the (BIS) program at the University of Virginia Education has consistently been a primary concern of mine, knowing that in order to succeed in life I must strive to maximize my educational potential. I value any educational opportunity presented to me, and a degree from the BIS program at the University of Virginia (UVA) will allow me further development in my educational, professional, and personal goals. I grew up in a farming community in Ghana, where the majority of my friends and family had only an elementary school level education at best and simply went to school until they were old enough to work on the farm. These networks help in confidence building and career development by giving you the platform to develop yourself through practice, and credentials. It takes great discipline to study and excel in college. People who graduate from colleges learn to overcome procrastination. They demonstrate discipline to stay on course and get through obstacles; with this mind set I hope to certainly improve myself through discipline to succeed in this (BIS) programs and beyond People with higher levels of education tend to have better job security, so if I want to secure my future with a higher paying job and not to be worried about loosing my job. A degree will give me the easy adaptation to other career field. With the global economy on a rise with so many outsourcing of jobs and career to other part of the world, it is becoming greater importance that I have to further my current education and (BIS) program at the University of Virginia, is exactly what I need to face the challenges in future. A credential earned stays with you for life, and also serves as a source of motivation to strive more for success not only in education but also in life as a whole, and a degree in (BIS) will serve as that
