The reason of Romeo and Juliet’s death were the family feud , Capulet , and Paris. These things made Romeo and Juliet kill themselves because they could not live without each other. The feud banned Romeo and Juliet from being together. Capulet tells Juliet that she had to marry someone she did not love. Paris wanting to marry Juliet comes between her and Romeo. In three days the whole town of Verona would change forever just because of two teenagers falling in love. The family feud came between Juliet and Romeo because they would never be allowed to be with each other because their families hate each other. There was always an ancient grudge between the two families that led to some tension between Romeo and Juliet. In the prologue in the beginning of the play it states “ where we lay our scene, from ancient grudge to new mutiny”(DBQ, Who’s to Blame? -Document A) …show more content…

Juliet loves Romeo, not Paris. PAris kept asking Capulet for permission to marry Juliet, Capulet eventually said yes. In the play Capulet says “But woo her, gentle Paris, get her heart, My will to consent is but a part.”( DBQ, Who’s to Blame?- Document D) This quote is saying that Paris can marry his daughter. Juliet doesn’t like that so she runs away and tries to kill herself. Overall Paris is a reason for Romeo and Juliet’s tragic ending because he tried to come in between Romeo and Juliet’s love by wanting to marry
