Why I Want To Pursue My Academic Career

My academic career hasn 't been anything too amazing but the fact of where I am (in college) in life is really personally awe-inspiring. I can see myself making really bad mistake and lead down a wrong path because i didn 't have much guidance. Most of my favorite teachers come from my elementary school, most significantly was my 3rd grade teacher. Her name was Ms. Visnovsky and she was really old, but she acted like a second mother to me. The next year had Ms. Myers whose name which she shared with the horror movie villain was appropriate, but she taught me that rumors and pre-judging can misrepresent someone. Springman introduced me to hockey. However, for specific subjects I tended to be sorta scattered. I wasn 't very good at writing at first but entering high school and improved a lot and its now one of my best subjects, especially when its abstract like poetry. I took AP Language and AP Literature in high school and I faired pretty well in class. I already loved reading so a class on literature wasn 't too daunting. However, I mainly faired well with math and science too. I wasn 't and still am not the best in math but i practice and really push myself to do well in math so i got good grades but i still struggled with it. Subsequently, I also struggled in AP economics because of the math in it. My worse subject was most definitely any computer class, I 'm not very tech savvy and it caused the only D on my report card. I honestly didn 't study very much at all in high school either, I got lazy once I got home. I do regret that and now that I’m here in college I found new ways to study.
