Dreams come true with proper planning and working towards it with a vision and believing in the self. This is what my mother instilled in me when I was about to leave my home after every vacation…I grew up in Ramakuppam, a village in Andhra Pradesh state. I was sent to Bangarpet in the state of Karnataka, for my education where I completed my pre-schooling in “Kumaran’s School”. I completed my high schooling in “St.Joseph’s Convent” and secondary schooling from“Beml composite junior college” KGF. It was at St. Joseph’s Convent that my love for science and aptitude found a spark; thanks to my teacher Mrs. Bhargavi for lightening interest in me towards science and computations which eventually earned me a position of Science and Math leader of my school. A natural aptitude for mathematics, a sense of logic, analytical ability and capacity for diligent work secured me a place Beml composite junior college after clearing an entrance examination; I was one of the few to get this opportunity and achieved my academics in high notes. At Beml composite junior college I developed a passion for science and interest in technologies. Upon graduating from Beml composite junior college I secured an admission into “Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College” and received a scholarship on merit. Over the two years with my passion for science and new technologies, I decided to become a software engineer. By this time I had developed a clear dream of becoming a successful software engineer and owning a software company. Good scores in Common Entrance test fetched me admission in “Dr T Thimmaiah Institute of Technology”. The course program here not gave me exposure to the wide range of Information sciences and also laid solid foundation for my Softwa... ... middle of paper ... ...infrastructure at the department, makes its graduate program ideally suited to my academic goals of understanding the concepts better to be a successful software engineer and multiply the chances of getting a good job I look forward to attending Indiana University in the Fall 2014. I took the GRE general test and secured a 297 combined score: a 139 in verbal, 158 in quantitative. In IELTS I secured overall rating of 6.5 I am aware of the kind of commitment, determination and dedication I need to have for undertaking my graduate studies. I am sure that you will find me as a deserving and creditable student for your renowned University. I will be grateful if financial assistance from the university is considered.
