The knowledge acquired in schools and colleges, I believe is not an education, but the means to it. It is this belief that made me a student to the end of my days, the obvious direction being curiosity to wards exploration. One of the memories of my childhood I deeply cherish is that of my first visit to my father's small scale factory.Exploring the machinery which made my goal more easier and my dad sharing his experiences about the working of machines made me to grew up grossing my interest towards them. During my childhood a series of course in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry reintroduced me into these subjects, but now with an Engineering bent courses like Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Kinematics of Machinery, Dynamics of Machinery, Thermodynamics and Automobile Engineering laid in me the strong fundamentals and problem solving techniques. Further courses like Design of Machine Elements, Metallurgy and Material Science and CAD/CAM exposed me to new ideas of today’s Engineering problems. The courses during my undergraduate studies taught me the basic engineering concepts in theory and practice. I chose an assortment of courses which enabled me to find out the various elements of a multitude of Systems, its theory & design. I have learnt Finite-element-Analysis using ANSYS, modeling of mechanisms in Robotics. I particularly enjoyed modeling of feedback control systems to electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical systems due to its cross-disciplinary approach. I have learned to use MATLAB thoroughly, using it in computing solutions and for Robotic programming. With the experience in coursework, I have become proficient in applying various tools like AUTOCAD, CATIA and Pro-Engineer from Engineering Graphics.
I am fully aware that yours curriculum requires that I summon all my resources and I aver that I have the necessary commitment, intelligence and stamina to look forward to do it all. One of the happiest moments in my life was when I cleared my engineering entrance test, and got an admit at PES Institute of technology for Bachelor’s in Mechanical. Having been part of this institution has given me a strong foundation in Core Mechanical subjects such as Dynamics and Kinematics of Machines, Solid and Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Manufacturing Sciences and Vibrations.
It is often said that necessity is the mother of invention and technology is driven by need. Hence it is the technology that brings about an invention. Engineers nurture technology, thus it is an engineer’s role to bring about a sustainable technological change. Machines and mechanisation that bring about this technological advancement have always fascinated me. I first got to know about a machine, my bicycle, when I was in my 7th grade. I became interested in the mechanism of the bicycle once when the chain slipped over the sprocket. The efforts I made in putting that in place and also replacing the worn out friction pads of brakes piqued my interest in machines.

I took up Computer Science and Engineering as my discipline in Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, one of the premier institutes in India. My undergraduate education has been a great learning and enriching process for me. It exposed me to all the core areas of Computer Science like operating systems, database management systems, networks and network security, data structures, algorithms and software engineering. These courses have given me a good foundation in the core concepts. My interest lies in Database Management, Programming Languages, Theory of Computation, and Software Engineering.
