Warriors all over are flocking to see War Room The Kendrick brothers new movie War Room is all about the power of prayer. It brings to life the ongoing spiritual battle that involves all of us. It tells of the daily struggle of a failing marriage, and how God can restore it. When a struggling marriage reaches its breaking point, it comes down to prayer, but more importantly, how to pray. When Elisabeth Jordan ( Priscilla Shirer ) finds a mentor in Mrs. Clara ( Karen Abercrombie ), her real estate client, her marriage is about to be flipped upside down. The raw emotion of the entire cast shows how much they genuinely want this to happen in real lives. Elizabeth's (Priscilla Shirer) persistence, Tony’s (T.C. Mrs. Clara’s ice cream scene was pure gold. The whole movie was perfectly balanced with emotion. It had sadness, comedy, seriousness, and some points were so incredible, that they gave me chills. I learned that prayer is really powerful! It dawned on me how much we could use that power here at this school. We’re so hardened and afraid that we don’t want to be the one to actually make the change. If we can have just one person who will pray for their peers the same way that Elizabeth prayed for Tony, something truly special could happen here again. We need prayer warriors who will fearlessly speak the truth to their classmates, that will pray with each other! We need someone who will rise up and lead this restoration of christian students who seek Jesus instead of people's approval. I would recommend this movie to anyone. I feel it would encourage anyone, no matter what age to get serious about your faith. I really enjoyed the film and it encouraged me to strive to become closer with
