“Once you learn how to die, you learn how to live” (Albom, 82). In the book, “Tuesdays with Morrie,” a professor lived his final days by giving life’s greatest lesson to the world. After Morrie was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, he wanted to spread his experience differently from other dying individuals. As his progression advanced, he reconciles with his past. He followed through fourteen important essential in life. He provided the reader with a second point of view in knowledge and relationships. Although his immobility affected his physical performance, he spoke to a student, Mitch Albom, who furthered his compassionate words to the world. He wanted to educate through his own physical body. His body would choose what he had to say to those who wanted to know what he was feeling. He did not speak negatively even when he was in pain or tired. He almost jokes about his physical disabilities and wanted to show that his behavior was normal to those that felt uncomfortable. Morrie did not care what other people thought of him getting too personal because he continued to show the reality of death. Morrie was a hero by giving people the benefit of the doubt. Although he was treated badly by certain individuals in his early life, he did not retaliate back and cause harm. Instead, he was able to sit with the person and understand the mistake. Morrie gave people a sense of wonder. He opened other people eyes and let them see a different side of life. Another way Morrie was a hero to some people was how he provided closure. Death is a traumatic event for people, and some people cannot handle the stress. However, Morrie was able to talk those individuals and give them a positive insight of death. For example, a young woman recently lost her husband, and she was incapable of handling her children's grief. Morrie explained to her how to children should be treated and reverse the trauma to something positive (Albolm,
