Introduction:
With the current course that I am studying I will be developing a lot of personal and transferable skills, and this will be very important for my future ambitions and career as by putting my transferable skills to practice at college I will stand in a stronger position when I work towards my future goals and ambitions once I have completed this course.
To match my transferable skills that I am learning at Barnet and Southgate College, I have used the UK’s National Careers Service Website (2012), that list the following transferable skills;
1.0 Problem solving

One of the ways of how I am learning organisational skills is by having to bring in equipment for my lessons such as the books and resources that I need and this is similar to using organisational skills at work as I will need all relevant paperwork and additional equipment that I need.
Working to deadlines
Working to deadlines is a transferable skill that I must have whether in education or am at work, as I will always be set deadlines to work towards in a matter of different ways wherever I am trying to train and develop my skills and knowledge on the industry that I am in when I go into work and the university/college standards that I have to meet with my college coursework when I am studying.

Management and leadership
Management and leadership is one of the most important transferable skills that there is available to learn, as there will be times at my work and study life where I will need to be the team leader and manage other people within a team and management and leadership skills will help me excel in my
